HAIR: Dark lavender, waist length; often segmented loosely.
EYES: Galaxy purple, with violet umbral rings.
SKIN TONE: Pastel lilac.
HEIGHT: 4′6″, below average.
BUILD: Delicate.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Horns wrapped in leather strips and adorned with various trinkets. Her scales have a slight marbled gradient to them, like the swirls in the night sky but remain matte, and are not shiny.
COMMON ACCESSORIES: Ssima wears many an outfit accompanied by jewelry that is forged from natural components; flora and feathers woven together and sat upon her crown, cords and bones wrap at her wrists and ankles. She tends to adorn herself in many trinkets unable to be displayed in game or on the character model.
AESTHETIC: Nature, freedom, flowers, the moon, fireflies, spirits, the wind, trinkets, herbs, burning incense, wild dance, mongolian patterns, fur, hand-sewn fabrics, tribal music, the cycle of life and death.
FEARS: The colonization of the Steppe, invading Garleans and magitek technology, denunciation of the Old Gods, loss of loved ones or places, failing the ancestors that watch over her still.
OTHER RELATIVES: An ancient bloodline, of many generations, now deceased.
PETS: A flock of sheep, and a brown mare.

Random Quirk: Each morning and every night, the shaman greets both cycles of moon and sun with prayer and surrender to the four winds. Small and humble, she is considered to be ‘an old soul’.
Addictions: None, though she will occasionally take to natural substances to enhance her spiritual visions and rituals.

HEALING: A shaman is a healer who moves into an altered state of consciousness to access a hidden reality in the spirit world for purposes of bringing back healing, power, and information. At their core, they aim to restore wholeness to individuals and communities, where a genuine reciprocity is formed between humanity, spirit and nature. In addition to this, Ssima practices the art of herbalism and able provide assistance through salves and potions for those that desire it. As a healer of the Mol tribe, Ssima is available to tend any and all wounds, and perform ritual as needed, regardless of faction.
GOD-WILLED: A small tribe of devout worshippers of the elder gods, the Mol will consult with their deities (via a shaman conduit) before making any tribe-related decisions, from the direction of their next migration, to the beasts they will hunt each day for food. Though not a tribe-based hook, perhaps there is something that might be written in the stars or whispered in the wind that might draw Ssima to your character, offer insight into a situation, or encourage an interaction.
XAELA/MOL HERITAGE: Having lived on the Steppe for the entirety of her life, Ssima hath seen many a Xaelic face, and heard many tales of those who came before; some of which have been witnessed through blessed eyes. Mayhap another character has shared locale of birth, comes from the same tribe but has never interacted, or crossed paths briefly on the plains or at the stalls of Reunion. There are plenty of hooks to be taken advantage of here, from the events of the Nadaam to conflicting/curious tribe views and rumor.
PLAYER’S CHOICE: I prefer to avoid more well-established connections with people I’m unfamiliar with (the fun is in forging these in RP, I find!), but I’m open to OOC discussion! All walk-ups are loved, please don’t feel as though you need some grand plot or plan to approach with, a simple greeting or initiation will get the ball rolling!
