With the bustle of the club and the way he’s rushing to make everyone happy, keep the customers satisfied and his employees from burning out, Sihyun doesn’t notice the broken glass until he grips it in his hand, the edge of it promptly cutting through the skin of his palm. He winces and grabs a rag to press it into the bleeding cut, moving towards the backroom. He pulls out his phone to call the only woman he knows can help with this cut at this time of the night and feels relief flood through him when she answers. “Hey, I’m sorry to bother you so late but I cut my hand. I’m not sure but I think it needs stitches. I know it’s your night off at the hospital but do you think I can drop by and have you take a look at it? Sorry, again,” he rambles into the phone and once Addy says it’s okay he leaves the club and walks to her place. Once he’s settled inside he unwraps the white cloth from his hand to show her and allows Addy to do what she needs to with only mild complaints. “Thank you for this,” he tells her, suddenly feeling very grateful to have someone like her in his life, someone who takes care of him despite the time of the night. He’ll never admit this to anyone but he looks up to Addy and because he never had a good relationship with his parents, she’s become something like a parent to him. It’s with a start that he realizes he feels completely safe here with Addy, having her stitch his palm back up with gentle hands. “Thank you so much. I owe you one.”
