(( @addysmenagerie Hello hello! I drew your Laser bc she’s super cute, and I think she and the Xu family would have a lot to talk about. XD))
@addysmenagerie
Boredom and children didn’t mix. That was an accepted fact of life by most people who dealt with human kids, and more specifically that had the explicit job of taking care of said kids. If a kid was bored, they’d find creative ways to entertain themselves that often included throwing safety and common sense under a bus. Which meant that a caretaker had to at least give them the OPTION of doing something at all times, lest they stick forks in outlets and stuff. Older humans, if sufficiently pushed, could also be pretty bad - the behavior hadn’t evolved generally, only their tolerance for said boredom.
Now, robots were noticeably less suicidal, mostly because they had some form of preventive measure coded into them to make sure they didn’t risk leaping off a bridge to their doom. And also because they generally knew better. But ‘bots coded with the AI of a child, or young teen, usually hit that sweet spot where they had acute awareness of the risks involved, and yet decided to go for it anyways, tempting fate to cure their boredom.
Diggy was a particularly terrible offender in that kind of behavior. Usually, she went to a friend’s place to soothe the compulsion, or went to a not-friend’s place to sling insults at them. But her habit of hanging out at a garbage dump was as good of an indicator as any that she still very much liked the “sneaking and entering” kind of shenaniganry.
Speaking of. Diggy did feel a little curious about a certain purple, noodly acquaintance of hers’ living arrangements. She was a rumor mill - she liked to think she was at least, and a little birdie had told her about a certain factory, a dimensional skip and a hop away, where he’d supposedly gotten himself adopted. Now, she wasn’t worried - not TOO worried. But, given the lack of information on the entire line of robots for her, she had decided that it was time to do a little bit of reconaissance!
...And by that she meant digging under the fence of the compound, and tiptoeing around the building until she found a large door opened just enough for her to army crawl inside. The doorway seemed to lead to a particularly busy assemblage section of the building, fullo’ spare parts and automation and nobody in sight.
She saw no foreseeable way of this backfiring whatsoever.

Far divorced from the monitors beeping and the ambient chatter of the other professionals in the building, a rather tall robot steps out of the sliding glass doors of the waiting room of a hospital he hadn't visited before, but came to as soon as his assistance was called upon.
His exit through the building caught the attention and stares of several humans, only a polite few bustling past quickly to mind their manners. He doesn't mind. There's only so much the bot can do to maintain a humanoid appearance, and apparently adopting scrubs like the other medical staff was his go to method... As well as keeping his mandibles closed too. Almost seems like he's wearing a mask that way!
Scor's tail swishes through the air absently behind him when he begins to embark on... A bit of a stroll through the cityscape, wishing to take in the sights now that he's got some time to breathe.
can we get a shade A3 and E3
YOU SURE CAN!!!

“Wonderful. A woman of many talents. It’s good to keep the repertoire wide, as it were. I should be embarrassed, you sound like quite the celebrity. An idol robot, you say! Well, well. I wouldn’t object to hearing more about your performances.”
His teeth crunched through a bit of his cone.
“Major Panic. Panic to closer associates. I assure I have no actual military association.”

The city. A bustling metropolis of honest, hard-working, innocent citizens. A shining beacon of light, full of opportunity and hope. Or so they want you to think.
Hidden in the shadows of a grimy alleyway, an imposing being, clad in pitch black from head to toe, watches vigilantly as people pass by. What sordid secrets did they hold? What vile, diabolical plans were nestled within their shriveled, rotten little hearts? Each and every human was a criminal. A monster. A ticking time bomb, ready to go off at any moment. What disgusting animals they were, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to snap and attack their fellow--
A sudden bout of violent coughing interrupted the small purple figure’s internal monologue. A bag of crispy nacho cheese-flavored treats tumbled to the pavement as he covered his mouth and struggled to cough up the pointy bit of corn chip that had gone down the wrong hole. Gah, he hated when that happened!!
Spitting out the offending large crumb, Anti-Bravoman wiped his mouth clean and glanced around quickly. Did anybody see that? Did anybody hear him? That could have been so embarrassing... stupid chip manufacturers probably put in a dangerous chip on purpose, he thought to himself as he leaned down to pick up his snack.
It’s just like he thought. Criminals are everywhere. Some sickos in the food industry want to hurt people just for fun. Your days are numbered, Freedo Laze.
The boy grumbled as he settled back into his seat, which was just a discarded milk crate he’d found. He really should have brought his notepad with him today. This was some really good material that he was letting go to waste with idle brooding. But he really hoped that something big would happen today. A bank robbery, a baddie invasion, an alien attack, a... a corner store shoplifting! Something! Oh, why did the other heroes get to do cool stuff and he didn’t?
