Redwood Manor, Bedlington, Brindleton Bay 1842.
New Year's celebrations arrived in Bedlington, Redwood Manor was filled with ostentatious decorations and mistletoe everywhere as a way to say goodbye to the year and celebrate a warm evening in this cold winter.
The Redwoods were dressed in their traditional red, proud to see the family reunited once again as in the old days.
This year they also invited Edgar, Clara and their families to join the dinner. The younger members of the family came to celebrate as well, John was happy to be able to play with his cousins, he loved entertaining little Greenland and Lucile along with Suzette.
Madeleine and Wendla joined each other at the diningroom, it was a coincidence of life that both were pregnant almost at the same time, so they could talk about how they were coping with the pregnancy, both couples were very anxious about the arrival of future heirs.
