I dont mean to pressure you at all but are you going to update adelphotes any time soon? I really liked it! I hope it isnt dead?

I’m not abandoning Adelphotes, but I am currently focusing primarily on Origins, if only because that fic is almost over.  Once it ends, I’ll probably turn most of my attention toward Adelphotes, in between plotting out and getting started on the first few chapters of Origins’ “sequel”/extended epilogue.

"I didn't lose it," Pacce replied, "It broke."

"Alright, fair enough, how did you break a staff bigger than you are?" Maroda asked, frowning down at his younger brother, who appeared completely unfazed.

The boy shrugged.  "There was a fiend."

Maroda went on to lecture Pacce about the necessity of taking care of one's equipment and the correct way to use a staff in battle; Pacce half-listened, more interested in the campfire than Maroda's tirade - and Isaaru sat back and watched, quietly adoring them both.

I just realized Adelphotes is going to have the one thing I don't think any of my other fics have ever featured.

My BroT3 going through a haunted house:

- who’s in the front, who’s in the middle, and who’s in the back: Maroda's in the front, then Pacce, then Isaaru - of course the guardians gotta go in first, that just makes sense. - who acts like it’s not going to be a big deal but actually screams at the top of their lungs when someone in the group’s hand brushes their arm Maroda.  :|  Then he tries to play it cool like nothing happened. - who’s scared about going in but they’re the only one who keeps their cool Isaaru.  He only did it because Pacce really, really wanted to go in, and Maroda refused to go in alone. - who keeps narrating their adventure in a deep voice as they wander through the haunted house PACCE, including picking on Maroda for screaming.  Cue gentle scolding from Isaaru, but that doesn't make him stop. - and, of course, who loses their shoe as they run out of the attraction Maroda loses his shoe, Pacce trips over it and falls into Maroda, they both fall flat on their faces, Isaaru tries not to laugh at both of them while running from one of those obnoxious end-of-the-attraction chainsaw bastards.

Slowly, with halting, agonizing steps, Maroda followed him into the woods.
