If lions are the king of the jungle, then tiger beetles are the kings of the garden! There are about 2,600 identified species of tiger beetle, and nearly all of them are known for being fast and deadly. Their name comes from their powerful jaws, which they use to catch and consume a variety of other insects-- sometimes several times their size!
