The Santiago, Chile-based black metal solo project AD FINEM OMNIA presents itself on its second full-length album as if transformed, yet largely unchanged in terms of expression. The band revives the flowing, melodic black metal sound of its debut, “Senectus Viae”, whilst revealing a new, unique side to itself. Their work once again explores the realm of dramatic solemnity with a Franco-Finnish flavour, though this time with a more personal, razor-sharp edge. As a test of personal endurance amidst decay, this work bears witness to the strength attained by the individual who stands firm amidst constant ruin.
