A couple people I interviewed recently reported their hyperactivity as clearly physical (lots of walking, cant sit still, athletics, etc). 🧠 Others described their hyperactivity as more of a mental/emotional energy that’s been “internalized.” For example: feeling restless in a meeting from so many ideas and having to contain all that energy. 🧠 I experience both. I’ve always been really physically intense, athletic and just generally moving around. However, I’ve also learned the lovely adult habit of “masking” how I feel to appease people, fit in, and avoid trouble.
