7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?

grian and tommy are the biggest ones. they're both so popular that like 85% of the fandom treats them as like. Guy I Project My Own Issues On and like that's a thing ur allowed to do?? but it ends up with them being wildly ooc in ways i find very irritating. then i go back to canon and im like okay yeah they're pretty chill actually.

(for the record the empires Projection Guy is jimmy and my characterization advice for all three of them is that they're little shits who cause problems on purpose and other people have problems with that on account of them being problems)

9. worst part of canon

i refuse actually. i will be a hater in a different direction instead tho. i saw a post a While ago now (like Months) that was like "wow i can't believe dsmp fumbled the ending so bad they had such a good opportunity how did they fuck it up so much?"

and like. name one thing the dsmp had going for it that made it easy for them to stick the landing. name literally one single factor in the creative process that was even just not an active hindrance. it is Extremely Easy to believe they would fumble the landing actually and the massive absurd fan pressure to do anything except naturally fizzle out and drift apart was one of those damning factors

this goes doubly for tommy's ending. so many people were so pissed off that he dared to write a story about life being unfair and cruel and ending horribly after his real life friend died of cancer. maybe there was a reason he wasn't feeling super optimistic actually.

also moon big fucked. i didn't like it at the time but it fucked.

Yeah I didn't know why so many people were showing up as finishing work or asking about posting, but now it is becoming more clear.
