he had been discarded a couple days after the whole incident. not like he had been badly hurt- in fact, he could barely feel the physical wounds, although for sure mixing and stirring would be a bitch with the cut on his bicep. it was the mental images that he would likely never forget. finding that man’s body– momoko’s.... except momoko had had a somewhat happy ending. or at least he refused to believe there would be a different kind of ending for her. he was not informed about her injuries, but before he left the hospital, he wanted to pay her a visit after knowing she was awake. adi was not the most popular guy in the mall– he doubted the girl knew him at all, or if she remembered him or anything. he wished she didn’t remember. it would be easier. “hey...” he stepped into her room, and suddenly he was not sure of how to follow, or what to do next. his mouth went dry. “uh– how are you?” that was the smartest thing he thought about saying.
