Prompt 14. I changed it slightly from what you probably had in mind, but you'll see

Silence.

Silence.

Silence. It was getting very boring.

At last, their voice called out to him. "Hey, Caradoc?" He turned to look at Adie, with no particular look on his face. "If I kiss you, will you scream?" They asked with a small smirk.

What?

He schooled his expression back into indifference, then scoffed. "Of course not, who do you think I am?"

They didn't reply immediately, because of course they didn't. Adie always had this calculating stare. Whichever the emotion they were sporting, he would often catch a glint in their eye, something that told him "I already knew how to reply to you before you even asked."

"Oh, I'd love to know," they waved a hand around, "who are you really?" They seemed genuinely curious (and still he didn't know if the curiosity was real or not).

He wasn't sure how to reply to them, it probably showed, because they smiled like just they won a game he wasn't privy to. So he decided to change the subject. "Why did you ask anyway, are you offering?" He copied their smile right back, "wouldn't mind."

A soft laugh came from the strange commander. "Is that so? We'll see about that kiss then, when you deserve it."

It made Caradoc splutter. "Do you think I am some kind of dog?! Looking for—for a reward?! Because—!" He ended up not finishing the sentence because their soft laugh reverberated once again in the non-physical space between them. They looked at him with those mesmerising green eyes, suddenly a tad too close (he'd never figured out how to warp this space like they did).

He searched for any hint of—anything, emotion, in their expression, but when they wanted, they were like a brick wall.

Finally the stare let up, they gave him a gentle slap on the side of his head and turned around. "I've got to talk to Elymas, don't leave while I'm gone!" And with a wink, they disappeared.

Every conversation with Adie left him more confused than how he started.

I wanted to join in on the whole character and creator teacup meme and I MAY HAVE READ THE ASSIGNMENT WRONG. It's not the right audio but I think it works well haha (and by the time I realized I was in waaaay too deep) but it was v fun! and the challenge of lip-syncing with only 3 frames was rough but I think I made it work

Also I may or may not have designed the whole logo in the corner specifically for this (tho I really should have earlier, but soular flare isnt likely to get made till like, 2026 at earliest so there was no real rush)

Worked on this one from start to finish on stream while doing some water studies and I think I've mostly got the hand of drawing water now, don't mind Adie being a little loco, they're always like that <3

so uh, a daily doodle already got out of hand. Got really inspired by a recent song I heard (VOICE by Tacitly) and I had to draw this as kind of a compromise with myself to not try and tackle an animatic with it since I really don't have the time.

But yeah isn't it interesting how a millenia could change a person's personality so drastically.
