I wanted to join in on the whole character and creator teacup meme and I MAY HAVE READ THE ASSIGNMENT WRONG. It's not the right audio but I think it works well haha (and by the time I realized I was in waaaay too deep) but it was v fun! and the challenge of lip-syncing with only 3 frames was rough but I think I made it work

Also I may or may not have designed the whole logo in the corner specifically for this (tho I really should have earlier, but soular flare isnt likely to get made till like, 2026 at earliest so there was no real rush)

Part 2 of me continuing to do the assignment slightly wrong but I'm committed.

Anyway, last time we had the "Soldier" Adie and now we get the "Poet" David Alvarez, I love this man very dearly even though he's only around for maybe a 3rd, if that, of Soular Flare's total story. Depending on how I edit the final draft he might even be already gone when it starts 😅

I do love him so though, so he's got a whole narrative dedicated to his backstory and how he ended up in a rather out of character position for who he is. It never gets brought up in the main storyline so it got cut from Soular Flare. He also got a story post-mortem cause anyone with a glowing item on them (like his glasses) doesnt actually "die" per se and can be revived and I have a long running joke of describing David as "The perfect protagonist who never got to be one" so I figured I'd let him be the protag in another story, why not 💙
