I have no source for this I can show but I was told araki wanted her to trounce Kars but he got told by the publisher it wouldn't be believable. It's just something a friend told me tho n I never verified tho I'd defs like to believe it

Guess this will be my irl headcanon now cause it sure makes me feel better about it haha! Lisa Lisa was hyped as being an incredible hamon user, and her demeanor even after Joseph mastered it so quickly; how chill she always was, kinda gave out that idea that she had something amazing up her sleeve… her defeat was embarrassing and kind of uncomfortable to watch.

In a way it wouldn’t be surprising if that were true, considering JJBA is a shōnen title, but whether it was the publisher or Araki making that decision is another story. As much as I love Araki, I’m not biased enough to deny that he hasn’t always done right by his female characters ; ;

yeah i really liked that plot point a lot? well both of those. i think i prefer “being confused with being two people” just because i can believe that conflict so MUCH. imagine being someone else, and being so free to BE a whole other person, and someone who’s so confidant and beautiful and amazing at that. it’s just so good.

aahaha yeah  i coudl see that too! maybe silica’s “not gone” or something. or it manifests in a negative way. there’s a lot of cool ways to go about this.

first of all, you are gorgeous. Secondly men insisting on lifting junk or holding doors for anyone they perceive as a woman ain't about attraction so much as it is about showing off in general. It's annoying. It's like how catcalls are more about power flexing then they are about actually thinking it'll work in any way.

and yeah, in my experience it’s less of a “i will lift a thing for a lady and then she will touch me on my bits” thing and more of a “well of course she can’t lift it she is a lady and they are not strong things, especially if it is a thing that i myself as a man cannot lift” thing

Hey! My one re-watch friend and I are actually keeping pace with your release schedule, so I just recently watched Shangri-La with her again. Defs not a great episode for a myriad of reasons but I wanted to share with you my friend's comments about the appearing/disappearing city in the first jem mv of the episode. She just said "Is this happening because Synergy gets bored and messes with them like this a lot?"
