Heeey fellas.

Been meaning to post an update but it’s been awkward times all around and I’ve actually been really busy with a Storyboarding job for months so haven’t actually had decent time to draw for myself. I do hope you’re all hanging on, staying safe, wearing a mask, and being excellent to each other and yourselves. ♥

In a moment I’m going to post some pages from the latest comic I was working on but that I won’t be finishing, but first I wanted to actually address my absence and the future of this blog, before creating expectations with an art post. Going straight to the point, I need to stray away from drawing Jojo. I don’t think this means I’ll never draw anything related to it again, and the Jojo + cars book might still happen although I won’t be doing anything for it while I’m busy with work, but whilst I loved spending these past few years amongst all of you lovely people in the fandom, drawing Jojo 95% of the time is not healthy for me as an artist and whatever future I might be able to achieve in my career. I think the way my posts became more and more scarce with time was telling of this, but I was kinda in denial that I wanted to go and do something else. Admittedly, it became really overwhelming. Towards the end I often felt like I was drawing to make sure I didn’t disappoint others rather than just draw because I wanted to, and this is obviously not on anyone other than myself, but it was very intimidating at times. I hope I didn’t make it weird for anyone; you’ve all been nothing but wonderful and your love has meant the world to me and really did keep me going at times nothing else did.

Jojo came into my life at a very dark time and it hit that ‘this is what I need’ spot head on. Even Josuyasu was an escapism at the end of the day; a way for me to express, not romantic stuff, but just the concept of genuine love and trust between people, because I was certainly lacking that in my life. But I’ve fortunately managed to distance myself from certain people and have since moved on from them, and so now when I think about Jojo and Josuyasu, it’s sweet but I just don’t feel that same level of attachment anymore.

Anyway, didn’t mean to overdramatize this lmao... Just that after running a blog dedicated to a fandom for a few years in a row, and gathering as much of a following as I appear to have over here, both things I never thought I would or could ever do, I feel like it’s important to be honest with you all.

Any Jojo art that I may do in the future, I will post it on my main blog and then reblog it to this one. I’ll also post it on my twitter.

Hey! So sorry, I haven’t taken prompts in a while, but since I’ve had other people send ideas, while I won’t be doing any comic requests anymore, perhaps you’ll see a sketch of this in a future miscellaneous sketches post 💖 (I take the ‘him’ in your Ask is Jotaro, yeah?)

Oh, not on my phone no. I didn’t use a stylus, I did that painting with my finger. Turning the opacity of the brush up and down as needed did the trick! c:

been getting insomnia a lot lately so I recently downloaded IbisPaint X on my phone so lying in bed would be less boring... nice app, managed to get a pretty similar finish to what I get when using a tablet on my computer~

It warms my heart to know you found inspiration in this little corner to draw some Jojo art!! I had a peek if that’s alright 👁️ and your drawings are beautiful! I just want to say that I absolutely adore your art and when I was watching jojo part 1, i kept seeing your art everywhere. I was struggling to get myself around to watching jojo properly and your art actually is what forced me to watch it more!! Now I'm literally obsessed with it and that's because of you so I wanted to shout out my appreciation! I'm so glad I found you on here. 😭♥️

I’m so glad you stuck around and are now having a good time with Jojo! I can understand; it’s not easy to start watching something that long and that perhaps might not even feel like your cup of tea at first (I relate to this so much!!), but Jojo is a wild ride and feels like there’s always a little something for everyone at one point or another!
