The Adirondacker Burger by Rachel Ray is a mouthwatering burger featuring a juicy beef patty topped with melted cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, and a zesty sauce. It's a perfect blend of flavors and textures that will satisfy your burger cravings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons ketchup. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 tomato, sliced. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. 4 slices of bacon, cooked crisp. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or to your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover the grill to melt the cheese. While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly browned. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard to create the burger sauce. To assemble the Adirondacker burger, spread the burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese. Add a slice of tomato, a few slices of red onion, and a slice of crispy bacon. Top with the other half of the toasted bun. Serve hot and enjoy your Adirondacker burger!
