The ladies officers have joined the Regiment of Artillery after efficiently finishing their coaching on the Officers Coaching Academy (OTA) in Chennai on Saturday. Navy sources mentioned the ladies officers who joined the Regiment of Artillery are Lt Mehak Saini, Lt Sakshi Dubey, Lt Aditi Yadav and Lt Pious Mudgil. Out of the 5 ladies officers, three are posted to models deployed alongside the borders with China and the opposite two in "difficult places" close to the frontier with Pakistan, the sources mentioned. The commissioning of ladies officers into the Regiment of Artillery is a testomony to the continuing transformation within the Indian Military, a supply mentioned.
