My new cane came!
This is super exciting because my old cane was way too long, not adjustable, had a stupid round wood handle, and didn't fold up, so it always got in the way when I wasn't using it. My knee often acts up unexpectedly, so now I have a cane that I can bring in my bag in case I need it (in the little Sac o' Mobility Aids that I carry in my backpack).
Yaay!! 🎉🎉
(Actually this cane is my daughter's. Mine, which is uglier but otherwise identical, doesn't arrive until Thursday. Still very exciting! If I find myself needing a cane more often I will get myself a fancy Hello Kitty cane, but right now I can't justify the expense. I will probably put a Hello Kitty sticker on mine. My daughter is planning to put stickers on hers.)
