little rant:
something that annoys me is when people ship Sherlock Holmes with Irene Adler in BBC Sherlock. like, that guy is so fucking gay. he had ZERO interest in her. i also genuinely saw someone say online “oh well Irene can actually keep up with him” in response to not shipping him with John, implying John is “too dumb” or “slow” to keep up with Sherlock. okay, if that’s your logic, ship him with Moriarty, who is smart enough to keep up with him and even outsmart him.
also, John isn’t even dumb either??? he can just be portrayed that way next to fucking 190 IQ Sherlock Holmes. people are literally pulling reasons out of their ass to ship Sherlock with a woman. that man is gay, moving on.
