Since that long darkness, The Moon has wandered alone and ponderous. He saw Belial, ruler of Greed, preside over her subjects with tyranny. As he witnessed The Lovers crippled and flightless, The Moon declared Greed would be the first to fall.
The Sun rose on that long darkness, and with Moon and Sun blazing down on evil, and the arrows of The Lovers pointed true, they banished Belial and her slaves back to the sea of souls.
Still, The World is indifferent, and the masses clamor to climb even higher.
When the school year started, third-year Michi Terukaze brought a shadow with them. Fellow Shujin students watched as they fled from the school in silent terror every day, but only a small handful ventured to follow.
In their efforts to discover the truth, this handful of interlopers fell into the Metaverse, pulled in by a mysterious man named Zero. Through this Metaverse, and the events of the real world, they saw the secret abuses of Misumi Tsurumaru, a dance instructor who had been abusing Michi and their team for over a year.
Zero joined forces with third-year Shujin student Mikio Yasuhisa, already awakened, to put an end to Tsurumaru’s crimes. The battle nearly ended in disaster, even with the help of Michi Terukaze, but in the end, Zero’s efforts triumphed. Tsurumaru confessed her crimes, and the dance team was without a teacher.
A scrap of peace returned, but would soon be disrupted by greater evils.
These are the developments as they have unfolded since the beginning of the game...
