Puzzles mental state
@selfshippinglover pinging you since it interested you :3
To keep it short, Didney Puzzles is not okay. His contract with Didney does not bind him just legally (in SMG4 that’s useless let’s be real), but rather actually forces him to actually follow the points written in it.
One of these things is that he’s not allowed to use his creative talent outside of Didney Property, meaning Dip suffers a complete write/art block whenever he tried to do something outside of work. Add that frustration to the fact that he his job is exhausting him so much that he usually sleeps throughout his entire free time , he’s pretty much at the lowest point of his life.
Since he cannot vent to anyone around him, he’s pretty much forced to keep all those feelings inside which of course eventually lead to him snapping anyway. He sees no other way out of his current life other than to take Didney down and he knows as a single person it’s as good as possible. So, he goes every way to dirty Didney’s name behind Mickey’s back, but he also knows petty crimes like small vandalism won’t do much.
So he started to blow off his anger through sabotaging park attractions.
Puzzles is by far no saint, he does regret putting innocent people in harms way, but he’s also at the point of desperation and hopelessness that he plays with people’s life just to get some kind of gratification.
One of these incidents eventually ended in one Didney employee going missing and a family being injured when a park attraction horribly “malfunctioned.” And that’s how the police got involved and Dip ended up teaming up with a cop who just doesn’t want to let the matter go and is actively searching for the culprit of it all who is standing right next to her.
Now, additionally to all the trouble before, Dip also has to deal with the paranoia of what may happen when Mod eventually catches up.
