Mod’s relationships [Part 1]
Mod isn’t exactly an easy person to get along with due to her straightforwardness and excessive sticking to the rules. Most of her relationships are complicated or straight up negative.
SMG3
There is not enough evidence to convince Mod that SMG3 does not truly have bad intentions. Since he’s committing crimes like the majority of the SMG4 crew, he’s on Mod’s wanted list. She sees him as a criminal and chases him down, unaware that SMG3 is having fun as it reminds him of his old more villainous days. Everytime she drags him to jail, he usually is out in less than a day, because their world is just stupid like that. A constant headache for Mod, free entertainment for 3.
Wren
Since he’s a detective and she’s a rookie, he outranks her and often likes to show it. However, it’s not Wren’s ego that makes Mod dislike him but rather his missing motivation for his job and corruption. She had respect for him before, but the moment she saw him letting himself get bribed by Mickey it was over. Wren is very well aware of her incapabilty to break rules, so he usually uses it to boss her around. Mod begrudgingly goes along with it, but not without a few sharp words which usually ends with them bickering on the job until Hal shuts them both up.
Hal
Hal is one of the few people Mod has a positive relationship with. As her mentor and boss, she respects him and pretty much sees him as her role model. Unfortunately he’s also the worst role model she could have gotten, because his unhinged methods of dealing with law-breakers are all taken up by her as well. Like with all of his men, Hal is very protective of her.
