How long does a reservation lasts?I'm on vacation til the 25 so I'm trying to plan out my app.
Reservations last 24 hours (sometimes plus a few hours depending on how busy we are) or until the person who submitted the reservation submits there app. Reservations also don’t prevent anyone from applying, nor does it guarantee you’ll be accepted.
At this time, we also don’t decide on skeletons with only one application outside of the regular acceptance times.

What are the motivations of The Laminar? I understand they are opposed to the human race but what it is they might be planning (as implied in their connections) is unclear to me. And why they are so opposed is only half way explained. I'm sure some of this is up to the mod, but if you have any ideas or clarifications they'd be greatly appreciated!
A lot of our skeletons are written with a lot of openness, to give applicants creative freedom to fit their character into the story in a variety of different ways. So of course, your job is to answer some of those questions is the application. As to not box either you or future applicants in, I can give a few ideas for what they might be planning, motivations, etc.
They’re planning on causing the councils failure because they don’t think it’s going to work or perhaps they think it’s been rigged from the beginning.
They’re planning on taking out or assassinating key political figures in the council as revenge for taking their family away.
They’re planning on toppling the United States Government because they’d rather see an extraterrestrial run government and don’t think humans are up to the task.
Again, these are just some very basic ideas to get you going, plus there’s probably an infinite amount of motivations and plans they could have. These are by no means the only ones.
