Hey guys I'm here with a (very overdue) update! We are no longer accepting auditions because we are now in the process of choosing people for our callbacks. My name is Jayde and I’m 19 years old. I originally was just interested in auditioning but soon joined the HTC team (family). I wasn’t Hamiltrash for the longest time. I had a friend who wouldn’t shut up about the show and finally gave it a listen. It was love at first note.
I’ve been into theatre pretty much my entire life but didn’t start performing until almost 4 years ago. I have been in a total of 11 shows but I’m currently in my 12th. I used to work behind the scenes at my High School’s theatre. I would program lights and manage sound (controlling the mics, playing music if necessary, etc). I am studying to become a Librarian (weird, I know).
I try to bring a different view point to the team and I double check to make sure things go smoothly. I help make decisions and give suggestions. I also give pep talks and encourage the team. I can’t wait to see the outcome of this project. Thank you for being so interested in it and coming along for the ride!
Hi! I was wondering if a girl could audition for James Madison or for Thomas Jefferson? I saw that on Thomas' thing that you'd prefer if they were a tenor or a baritone, but would a girl be okay too??? Idk just wondering
A girl can audition for any role (male or female). We aren’t really focused on gender. If you can sing/rap the part you can audition for it! I hope that helps!

For the phillip audition, for take a break do you want the part with him counting with his mother on the piano or just the rap
For Philip’s audition we would like it if you did the rap. If you would like you can also sing 1 minute of a song from the show.

So even with the ensemble, there can't be more than like 50 potential spots to fill. A lot of people are going to want to be a part of this. Have you thought about doing multiple casts? Like a genderbent cast, a traditional cast, a youth cast, etc.
Right now we’re just focused on making one album. Any gender and any age 13+ can audition. We’re really just focused on talent.

The age cut off is 13. If you’re under the age of 18 you must have a parent signature.
