Role Requirements:

Prefered Vocal Range: Tenor/Baritone

This role requires both singing, and rapping abilities.

Ensemble casting included with this role: No

Audition requirements:

Please submit a recording (audio or video) of yourself singing approximately one minute of Burr’s part in “Alexander Hamilton” as well as a minimum of one minute of “Wait For It”. You may also include any other musical recordings you would like (they do not have to be from Hamilton) to further showcase your vocal range. The instrumental (click for link) for “Alexander Hamilton” by YouTuber espyda, or the instrumental (click for link) for “Wait For It” by YouTuber Musical Remedy can be used to accompany your singing. You may also use the accompanied track (click for link) by Musicalityification or perform the songs accapella. (Note: The tracks for “Wait For It” are in a higher key than the original recording.)

Submission info:

All initial auditions must include a completed copy of the audition form (download it here). Subsequent auditions do not require it, provided that you have included your URL in the file names. Please ensure that your audition files/emails include your URL in them as anonymous auditions cannot be used!

Please send all auditions to [email protected]! If you are unable to attach your audition files to an email without using Google Drive or a similar upload service, please upload a zip file (tutorial here) with them to our DropBox (click here for the upload link)! Inform us of any issues submitting files!

Hi, my name’s Dom and I’m a composer and arranger from Sheffield in England. My job on the team is to create vocal scores for the tracks of the show that feature difficult harmonies so that everyone knows exactly what they’re singing. I love Hamilton and am really enjoying taking part in this project xxx Dom

My name is Jovial Ginger, or actually it’s just Jess. :)

I’m only 17, but my mind is older, i’m obsessive over projects, and places that are colder. I’m supplying the team with some poor audition tracks, but the whole team should know I’ve always got their backs! Trinity in Dublin is where I wanna go, with dreams of studying music and makin’ drama shows. 

And yeah I’m done trying to rap XD. I enjoy music, editing all sorts of things, big projects, and meeting creative people! Hamilton has taken over my life since December and I am so glad to be part of this amazing project.  ♥

Annyeong~ 

My name is Jayde and I’m 19 years old. I originally was just interested in auditioning but soon joined the HTC team (family). I wasn’t Hamiltrash for the longest time. I had a friend who wouldn’t shut up about the show and finally gave it a listen. It was love at first note.

I’ve been into theatre pretty much my entire life but didn’t start performing until almost 4 years ago. I have been in a total of 11 shows but I’m currently in my 12th. I used to work behind the scenes at my High School’s theatre. I would program lights and manage sound (controlling the mics, playing music if necessary, etc). I am studying to become a Librarian (weird, I know).

I try to bring a different view point to the team and I double check to make sure things go smoothly. I help make decisions and give suggestions. I also give pep talks and encourage the team. I can’t wait to see the outcome of this project. Thank you for being so interested in it and coming along for the ride!

Hello There! 

My name is Grace, but i also go by Garce or Cat . I am 15, in 10th grade, and live right outside of NYC, in northern NJ. I believe I am the newest/youngest admin and I only realized I was able to log on here today so... oops. I’m not auditioning for any part, but I will be watching all of your auditions (mwhaha ;)

I grew up a giant theater geek, seeing Broadway shows all the time, and pretty much have been in three musical theater productions every year since 5th grade, however recently I’ve slowed down. My music teacher showed my class a video clip of In The Heights and Lin’s Tony speech, and basically have been obsessed with everything he’s done since. When I heard about Hamilton and then finally got to listen to the soundtrack, I died. Slowly, i introduced my friends and now all of them either hate me or talk about it as much as I do! 

I am a girl of many talents I guess. I help with all I can. As of now, I am mostly just doing things to make this blog and the project look pretty, photoshopping graphics, finding themes. I actually made that new icon, so I hope you like it! And I guess I will be answering questions now too. I may do more if it is needed, as my skills also reach video/audio editing. Anyway, I am so excited to be working on a project such as this with such amazing people! I can’t wait until we have a finished project for all you beautiful creatures!

Hi everyone!

I’m Isha Thakor but you can call me Isha. I’m 17 (but my mind is older). I’m from India but I live in Thailand. I’m an admin who is also auditioning to be a part of the cast (I don’t get to vote for the cast - only the non-auditioning admins do).

I love musicals, and I love to sing. I discovered Hamilton a while ago when everyone on my dash started talking about it, so I downloaded the album, and it turned out that I really liked it.

I’ll be helping with organising and coding (and playing a part if I get it). I am really excited about this project and getting to work with so many amazing people from around the world!
