hello! ive had a pretty shitty day today, one that involved seeing an abusive ex, so i'd really like some yata fluff? maybe him introducing the reader (she/her is preferable!) to homra? she's just super sweet and giggly and it's a really cute contrast? tytyty lovelies <3 x
I hope you’re doing okay anon. I hope they didn’t do anything to you either. It’s almost 12 am here so I hope what I whipped up for you real quick was enough to cheer you up a bit~
You were nervous, but also excited. You two have been talking about it for months and now it was the chance. You were going to meet your fiance’s clan for the first time. You had always wanted to. The way he spoke about HOMRA so passionately like they were his second family got you really intrigued. Yata had promised you many times now that he would take you to HOMRA.
However, you have heard many stories of HOMRA before you met Yata. A lot of them being that they were a bloodthirsty gang of hooligans who loved to hurt people. But after meeting your Fiance, you kinda started to doubt that rumor now.
“y/n! Ya ready?” Yata called from his spot from the door.
You shouted a quick “coming!” And hurriedly finished brushing your long hair and smoothing your dress as you made your way to him and you both set out. Yata had decided not to take his usual skateboard since he didn’t want to leave you behind. You both calmly walked along the sidewalk, enjoying each others company as you both held each other’s hands. The nice summer breeze feeling good on both your skins.
“Ne, Yata. You think they’re gonna like me?” You asked somewhat shyly.
“Are you kidding? Babe, they’re gonna love ya! And i’ll punch em in their fuck’n mouths if they dont!” He said with a smirk. That made you giggle softly.
He smiled too hearing you laugh. One of his favorite features about you. You remember him telling you that it sounded like the sound of the most faint chiming bells. As random as that was, you took the compliment anyways. In a matter of moments, you two were standing outside of the bar. You felt Yata clasp your hand tighter as he opened the door for you. The little chime of the bell indicating your arrival. You couldn't’ help but marvel at the interior; for a gang base, it was rather homey and had a classy charm to it. You could see the people inside were mostly a group of young men - no surprise- and a little girl sitting on a red couch. Oh she was adorable!
“Yo! We’re here!” Yata shouted out to everyone.
“Woah! Yata this is her?!” Came chorused voices of surprise.
“Yata wasn’t kidding when he said he got himself a chick”
“Damn she’s actually good looking!”
“Way to go Yata! You aren’t a virgin after all!”
“Shut up! Quit talking about my fiancee like that or I’ll kill you!” Yata screamed at them with a blush.
“Fiancee?!” Came gasps of surprise
You couldn’t help but giggle cutely as you nodded at the statement. Yes it was very much true, and the very nice diamond ring on her finger was proof.
Soon, all the guys started patting Yata on his back giving him congratulations and asking him when the wedding was and such. Then they moved to you and introduced themselves. They were all very friendly actually. Now that rumor really was false after all because they were all nice and inviting.
“Aw Yata she’s adorable! How the hell did ya; manage ta snag this beauty?” One of the guys, Chitose questioned.
Yata only responded him with a punch to the gut. You couldnt help but quietly laugh at your fiance’s usual demeanor. It really was all that intriguing.
“I’m with chitose on that, I mean, she’s like the complete opposite, she’s all dainty and cute and you’re all thugish and ugly” Eric teased, which too got him a first to the head.
“Shut up shut up shut up! Is it so surprising for me ta find a girl and fall in love with her?! Course I’m gonna ask her ta marry me if I love her ya dumbasses!” Yata screeched. You somewhat blushed at his small confession.
“Hey knock it off will you!” Said the bartender behind the abr. He was giving all the guys murderous glances.
Yata told you to go ahead and take a seat at the bar while he chatted with the others real quick. You did as told and sat down on the red seat. The bartender gave you a polite smile.
“Kusanagi Izumo, nice to meet you. It really is a shock that our Yata managed to actually end up with someone as cute as you. Now, would you like anything to drink?” Izumo said politely but with a hint of humor.
You smiled kindly at him and asked for a cranberry juice after you too introduced yourself. Just then, the little girl from the couch sat beside you and looked at you through a little red marble. You remembered Yata mentioning this to you before. That the little girl- anna you believe he said she was- was color blind and could only see red.
“You have a lovely red” anna said quietly. You didn’t really understand what she meant but you thanked her anyways since you thought she was just complimenting you in her own little way.
You could then feel Yata come sit beside you and he wrapped an arm protectively around you. Something he did every chance he got.
“Well we gotta say you two, we hope you manage to survive each other” Rikio said jokingly.
“‘Course we’re gonna last long ya fatty!” Yata yelled at him and once more you giggled. Yes you really liked it here so far.
A few hours passed and the sun was starting to set and you both decided to leave. After saying your goodbyes to everyone and promising them that you’d visit more, you both began to walk home.
“I really like it there” you began.
“Oh yeah?” You swore you could see his face light up
“Yeah, they’re super nice people. Kinda dumb, but in a funny way. You really should start taking me there more. I really wanna see them again” you looked up at him.
“I might as well. It should give you a chance to get to know how they really behave” Yata cringed.
“You say it like it’s a bad thing. It can’t be THAT bad” you laughed
“It is. You need to experience them first hand before you decide whether you like them or not” he said seriously
“How come?” You asked curiously.
He then looked at you, eyes all serious.
“Because they demanded to come to our wedding”
You swore you’ve never laughed harder a day in your life.
