hello!! first of all, i'd like to thank everyone who's still hanging around this blog despite the fact that i haven't updated in months... i'm so pleasantly surprised! thank you so much.

i caught up on the anime recently -- i stopped both watching the anime and reading the manga after that scene where killua breaks down in front of palm, it was just too painful for me -- so that was what, 30 episodes of brand new content for me! i may or may not have pulled an all-nighter right before going to work at 6AM because i was way too into it...

i have sooo much to say and went through all possible human emotions throughout those episodes, i'm hoping to find some time to rewatch or pick the manga back up again so i can update this blog and write some stuff up sometimes soon!

but to sum it up: chimera ant arc was absolutely brilliant, it's few final parts very reminiscent of YYH's chapter black (meaning it was fucking great), i cried more than i had since months while watching the final komugi and meruem scene, the election arc is so much fun, i love alluka and want to protect her forever, i ship amane and canaria so hard, killua is still the most wonderful person in this entire universe and makes me cry on a daily basis

i cried for almost the entirety of the episode due to how terrified and shocked i was. now that i've finished it, i'm left with a painful hole in my chest and my heart won't stop beating at a weird rate __ﾉ乙(､ﾝ､)__

good job to madhouse, as well as mariya, ayumi, and especially megumi for delivering this moment so impeccably, making it even more powerful, tense and emotional than it already was in the manga.

the animation, the artwork, the background music (or lack of there off), the moments of silent tension, the framing, the imagery, the acting... everything was perfectly on point.
