OK! So first, THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR LIKING THIS BLOG! I love you all so much (✿ ♥‿♥) Anyway, I was gonna make these headcanons scenarios but I don’t know the meaning of “short scenario”, so they’re gonna count as prompts. There’ll be one for each chocobro: How the Chocobros propose! Also, they’ve been turned into reader-inserts so enjoy :)

You woke up the morning of your x year anniversary to find Prompto wasn’t in bed with you. Rolling over to look at the time, you found it a little strange that he’d be up and out of bed at 8 am on a weekend. Nevertheless, you got up in an attempt to find him and bring him back to bed. Prompto was nowhere to be found, however, he left behind your favorite breakfast and a note scribbled on a napkin. Chowing down on the food you assumed he had Ignis make, you read the note: Happy Anniversary! I hope you like breakfast this morning. I have a surprise for you, but to get it, you’ll have to go the place we had our first date~! See you there, love you <3

The Wiz Chocobo Post. You smiled at the note and finished eating, excited for what he had planned. You headed to the post in search of blondie, but he was nowhere in sight. You asked the man running the place if he had seen Prompto and he smiled and nodded. The man told you he was given specific instructions to give to you when you arrived. The old man recalled what Prompto said, and helped you onto a chocobo. You went to the small hill where you guys both enjoyed the sunset view on your date, but he still wasn’t there. On the nearby tree were pictures of Prompto and you from your first date, and another note: This place is so nice, and even more beautiful when you’re a part of the view. I remember our first date fondly, you were so cute and I had so much fun. However, this isn’t the best place for your surprise. Head to the place where we had our first kiss~! Love you <3

You smiled at the sweet words he wrote, gathered the photos, and headed back down the hill. You then headed to Crows Nest Diner. When you stepped inside, the blonde was again nowhere to be found. Wandering around a bit and you stopped at the Justice Monsters V machine where more pictures decorated the game. You smiled at the picture of the kiss, Gladio had taken just for fun, remembering the moment as if it were just yesterday. The five of you were just hanging out when you decided to give the game a go. You ended up quickly kissing Prompto after beating Noct’s high score. It was a spur of the moment thing and he was quite surprised at the sudden gesture. Though as you started to shyly turn away, he pulled you in again for a proper kiss, which caused Gladio to laugh and snap said photo all the while telling you to ‘get a room’. Amongst the sea of photos from that day, Prompto left another note: To be honest, it wasn’t how I imagined it would go, but the day you first kissed me was definitely a magical moment. I’ve never seen anyone that determined to beat Noct’s high score, but I must say it was worth it. I still remember your face after it happened and I wish I reacted quicker to catch it on film. But Gladio’s photo will do just fine. After thinking about it some, as special as this place, it’s not the best place for your surprise. Head to the place where I first saw you cry~! Love you <3

Again, you headed back on the road, this time to the movie theaters. As you walked inside, the first thing you noticed was an old movie poster adorned with pictures from that day. More specifically a movie you saw together that ended with you in tears. One of your favorite books had finally been turned into a movie and Prompto suggested you go see it together. You knew that your favorite was going to die at the end, but it didn’t stop you from shedding tears. Prompto did his best to comfort you after the movie and decided the best way to do that was to go get some ice cream. That picture was your favorite. He had been trying so hard to make you smile again that he dropped his cone on the ground. It made you laugh so hard, just seeing the look on his face. You lifted the note next to the picture: This day was a roller coaster wasn’t it? I felt so bad seeing you cry after the movie. I never want to see that face again, it hearts my heart. But I’m glad I cheered you up after. Even if it meant my ice cream had to be sacrificed, it was all worth it to see a smile back on your face. And thanks again for sharing yours with me, I might have cried too that day if you hadn’t. But thinking about it again, this place is special to me in its own way, it was the first time you had shared that level of emotion with me, but it’s not the best place for your surprise. Head to the place where we first said 'I love you’~! Love you <3

You headed out for the fourth time; this time going to the waterfall in Lestallum. Prompto had planned a picnic that day and it was more memorable than anything, and there in the same spot you had sat, was a small basket with pictures. That day started off with the actual nice picnic. Prompto tried feeding the love of his life by tossing blueberries into your mouth. However, the little devil within took over after 3 caught fruits and proceeded to just playfully throw them at you. But you retaliated with the cherries. Tossing the fruits back and forth, laughing all the while until you ran out of the fruits. Once the mini food fight hand ended, you guys decided to play in the water for a bit. Finding a spot to lie down afterward and just watch the sky, Prompto was the first to break the silence with 'I love you’. You pulled the note out of the basket: This day was so much fun! And sorry again for not being able to get the blueberry stains off your shirt. But when I said I loved you that day, you weren’t surprised at all. After I said it, I was going to tell you that you didn’t need to say it back, that I just wanted you to know how I felt, but you beat me to it. You said it back, and I couldn’t have been happier. However, this scene will always have a special place in my heart, it’s not the best place for your surprise. Just once more, head to Galdin Quay’s Mother of Pearl. Love you, and finally see you there <3

For the final time, you headed to the location on the note. It’s was nearing nighttime when you arrived, only to find Gladio waiting for you. Giving him a smile but a questioning look, you asked him what he was doing here.

“I’m here to escort you part of the way up m'lady,” he replied with a small laugh, handing you a single rose.  

“Remember that time you and Prompto pranked Noctis?” he said as he started walking towards the bridge, trying to hold back his laughter. “I still can’t believe Noct slept right through you putting makeup on his face! Didn’t even budge!” He couldn’t hold it back any longer. “And then you guys sent a picture to all his friends!” Gladio wheezed in between laughs. “I think that is my favorite memory of you guys,” he said wiping away the tears that had formed in his eyes before handing you off to Ignis at the starting end of the bridge. 

“Good evening madam. I hope you enjoyed your day thus far,” Ignis bowed and handed you another rose. You two headed down the candlelit bridge. “Do you recall the time I tried to teach you and Prompto to cook?” Ignis asked smiling at you. “It didn’t really end well but I still certainly had fun with you guys,” he continued. “We should do it again sometime, with something a little less… flammable,” he laughed to himself, meeting Noctis at the half way point. 

“You look very nice today,” Noct stated as he handed you yet another rose. As you closed the gap between you both and the Mother of Pearl, Noct recalled his favorite memory of you and Prompto. “I have many. You guys are really good together,” he said. “But if I had to choose a favorite, it would be this one." 

You continued on inside once you reached the end of the bridge, and finally saw the man you’ve been looking for all day. He had a huge loving, smile on his face as you greeted him. Prompto handed you the final rose. "Did you have fun strolling down memory lane?” he asked as he kissed your nose. “I thought this location would be the best for your surprise. To take you back to where it all began. The place where I first laid eyes on you,” he looked into your eyes, the smile growing brighter on his lips. “Now, there’s just one more note for you to read,” he said handing you a folded piece of paper, this time with a pen.

You couldn’t help but giggle, circling the first letter. When you looked up, Prompto already had the ring out. You handed him the paper, to which he let out a 'yay!’. He placed the ring on your finger and hugged you tightly. 

“Guys! She said yes!” he rejoiced almost in tears, as the other three made their way up to congratulate the couple.

Headcanon Scenarios No One Asked For

Okay, so as I promised earlier here they are. My part that wasn’t requested was ‘The Chocobros’ First Encounter With Their S/O or Seeing Them For The First Time’. I hope you guys like them :)

This post is kinda long so it’s going under a cut ‘3′

Noctis: At a popular diner in Lestallum, the boys decided to take a much-needed break and grab some food before they head off on the next part of their journey. A few minutes into their meal, the door to the establishment swings open, and from the entrance emerges a girl. She makes her way to the opposite side of the diner after telling the waiter that she’s waiting on a friend to arrive. As she moves across the diner, Noctis catches a glimpse of her out of the corner of his eye. For a brief second, he can already feel his throat dry out and his heart start to gradually quicken its pace as he turns his head in the direction she had gone to get a better view of the angel that had graced his gaze.    "Go say hi,“ Prompto laughs at the Prince’s almost high schoolesque antics.    "Say hi to who?” Noct replies, apparently oblivious to even his own actions.    "The girl you were just staring at,“ Prompto says, filling in his clueless friend. Though to his slight embarrassment, Noctis denies having done such a thing and claimed to just be looking around. The guys finish indulging themselves in delicious food, carrying on with light conversation until Noctis finds his eyes wandering over to the girl on the other side of the diner again.    "Why don’t we invite her over here, if you don’t wish to go say hi,” Ignis suggests in a playful manner. Flustered at just imagining the scenario, Noct quickly stands up. “What, no. We have a job to do anyway, and it’s getting late. We should probably head out now.” The other three follow the prince out to the Regalia but stop about half way.    "This could be the first and last time you see this girl. Don’t you want to get to know her at all? Just go introduce yourself, it’s not like you’ll die from meeting new people,“ Gladio huffs trying to encourage the young prince to stop chickening out.    "He is right you know. If we leave right now, you’ll have to spend the rest of your days wondering ‘what if’,” Ignis chimes in, hoping that his advice would help his friend. Noctis thinks it over, having a war rage in his mind. Should he go and talk to her? What if she doesn’t want to talk to him? The battle of 'should I? or should I not?’ continues, as his heart races already knowing which option his brain is about to settle on. He nods at the guys, takes a deep breath and heads back into the diner. Once inside, he can feel the temperature rising to almost unbearable levels. Could no one else feel it? He slowly makes his way to the opposite end of the diner, his eyes locked on the destination. With every agonizing step, it seems like he’s only getting further away than when he started. The length of the diner seems to double in size making it seem like he’ll never get there. He can feel his hands start to get clammy just looking at the smile on her face as she chats with a friend. His nerves start to soothe for a brief moment as he almost reaches the table, but the feeling quickly shatters when he bumps into an unseen waitress, knocking over the cups of water she had been carrying. A loud clatter can be heard in most parts of the establishment and everyone in the immediate vicinity turns their heads to see the commotion.    "I’m so sorry. Let me get a mop, I’ll help clean up,“ Noctis barely manages to speak as his face grows a light shade of red. His mind goes blank from embarrassment as he goes to fetch said mop and slips on the water that had just been spilled. ’This can’t be happening,’ he silently thinks to himself. Sitting up, checking for any cuts or bruises, many customers and a few nearby employees are questioning if he’s okay or if he’s hurt in any way. Lost in his own rapid thoughts, he tunes out everyone around, taking one last look at the girl he was supposed to talk to find her looking back at him with a worried expression on her face. ’It’s obvious she must have seen’ is his last clear thought before deciding he is unable to remain in there another second. He assures the surrounding crowd that he’s fine and quickly makes an exit.    "So, how’d it… why is your shirt wet?” Gladio asks, smile fading to concern.    "I don’t want to talk about it.“

Prompto: After stocking up on supplies the boys head into  Mother of Pearl, chatting randomly, going to recieve their reward for the previous job. As Noct talks to the chef, letting her know that the job was complete, Prompto stretches and glances around the room. Scanning the familiar surroundings of the resort, his eyes land on something not so familiar. Or rather, someone. His eyes refused to look away, lighting up a bit in the process. She was beautiful, to say the least. His attention was solely on her, taking in her every feature. The style and color of her hair, what she was wearing, the grace in her every movement. It was all so captivating, making his heart skip a beat every now and again. He wanted to know her. What was her name? What’s her favorite color? Where did she come from? Where is she heading to? Who’s hand was waving in front of his face? Wait, a hand in front of his face? Coming out of his daze he realized it was only Noct.    "Hello, Prompto?”    "Is anyone home? Prompto Argentum,“ Noctis called to his blonde haired friend. Shaking his head to bring himself back to reality, Prompto turned his head towards the guys with a huge grin on his face and the smallest of blushes dusting his cheeks.    "There’s another job for us to do, but I was wondering if you wanted to grab a bite to eat first, but you were zoning out… kinda unlike you…” Noct questioned curiously.    "I think it was more of staring at someone, rather than zoning out,“ Gladio replied smirking and nodding his head towards the girl in a teasing manner. Instantly, Prompto’s face was flushed at having been caught staring at a complete stranger, but he just couldn’t help himself.    "What were you thinking about; I hope it was PG-13,” Gladio continued to tease the younger boy.    "We could just invite her to join us for lunch if it makes you happy,“ Ignis added. Prompto dismissed their joking, laughing a bit himself as they all decided to rest and have a meal before heading out again. As they left the resort, Prompto took one last glance at the angel he saw earlier just so he wouldn’t forget her breath-taking aura and proceeded to leave the premises. Alas, while Prompto was so busy taking in her every feature to forever keep within his memory, the poor boy didn’t even realize that she eventually caught his gaze was staring back at him with a small smile adorning her lips.

Gladio:  Heading to the place he’s considered a frequent visitor at, Gladio thinks over his possible new ink design. He was considering yet another tattoo and wanted to see what the artist could do about bringing the image he had in his head to life. When he stepped into the parlor, his go-to guy was already with another customer; a very nervous looking girl for that matter. Gladio greeted the man with the needle and sat awaiting his for the girl to be finished.    "Are you ready to start?” he can hear the man say, though there’s no reply.    "Okay… I’ll be back in about five minutes. Please try to relax a bit in the meantime,“ the tattoo artist breathes out in slight frustration, excusing himself to the front of the store. Gladio greets the man he hasn’t seen in a while, a smile growing on the guy’s face.    "Back again? What can I do for you this time around,” he greets Gladio.    "You make it seem like I’m here every week,“ Gladio laughs. "But since you asked, I do have an idea for a new tattoo. Think you can make it happen, Jax?”    "Of course I can; you’re talking to a pro here,“ Jax rebutted. "Though, it’ll be quite the wait. There’s a stubborn client in the chair, been so for the past half hour or so because she’s too tense,” he heaved a sigh of exhaustion. He went back to ask the woman if she was ready to finally to start, and as he could’ve guessed, she was not.    "Listen, maybe a tattoo just isn’t for you. If you’re too tense, I can’t start or you risk passing out. We can try again another time,“ he suggested to the woman, but she insisted it had to be today as she started to sob a bit, tears stinging her eyes. Gladio came into the back, having heard the noise in the other room to find a girl on the verge of tears. He was taken aback a bit. He was drawn in at just a mere glance of her flushed face. But what was she doing in a tattoo parlor if she couldn’t even get the desired ink? He pulled up a stool on the opposite side of the artist’s and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. She jerked a bit. Who was this stranger? Though his face was friendly and welcoming as ever. Gladio was the first to speak.    "Hey, is it your first tattoo?” he asked in a sweet soothing voice. The girl nodded in response, making Gladio chuckle lightly. “I remember the first time I was in here; I’m not gonna lie it did hurt but it was worth the little bit of pain,” he showed her the entirety of his tattoo that took multiple sessions to complete. Her sobbing soon came to halt as she marveled the tattoo he had shown her.    "You know, it usually helps to have another person with you when getting your first tattoo, if you’d like, I’ll stay here and talk to you, so at least you’ll have something else to focus on. And if it starts to hurt too much, you can squeeze my hand,“ Gladio offered, to which the girl hesitantly accepted. As the small tattoo was being done, Gladio and the girl started talking a bit more and the more she spoke to him, the more he could feel his heart flutter. He didn’t want her to stop; her voice was soft and sweet, and her hand in his just felt right. He knew with the size of the tattoo she had chosen, that this dream-like state would end all too soon.

Ignis: Having woken up earlier than usual to get a head start on the long drive that awaited them, Ignis made it a point to stop at the nearest coffee shop to wake up his senses. The guys sat at a booth a little more than half asleep, as they waited for Ignis to return with his caffeinated beverage. The wait for the coffee seemed to drag on, so much so the other three were practically asleep in the booth they sat in. After about a minute, the barista set down a large caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso. As Ignis reached for the drink, so did someone else: a girl that looked more tired than he was.    "Oh, I guess we ordered the same thing. I’ll wait for the next one. You look like you have somewhere to be,”“ she spoke groggily. Feeling bad for the small woman, he insisted that he would wait and she should take the one that’s already finished. She was hesitant at first, but slowly grabbed the coffee.    "I’m sorry for making you wait,” she gave him an apologetic look. “I’ll wait with you if you’d like,” she spoke sheepishly.    "Well,  thanks. You’re up pretty early, though,“ he curiously stated.    "Yeah, I pulled a bit of an all-nighter trying to finish my research paper. I go to the university around here and was studying the effects of caffeine on the body,” she breathed out taking a sip of her coffee. Ignis nodded in admiration. The two continued on with light conversation, Ignis getting to know a little more about her. When his drink was ready they still continued on a bit longer, engaging further in the conversation. He found her quite interesting, to say the least; she didn’t even like coffee at the start of her project and yet she’s now grown accustomed to this particular drink. ’What made her choose the topic to begin with?’ he wondered. He questioned her about her findings, and became enamored with the way her mind worked.    "Your eyes seem to be dilated. I guess the caffeine is kicking in,“ she giggled at the sight. Ignis’ face grew a light blush, not too noticeable visually but he could still feel its presence.    "Well I have class soon, so I have to go. It was really nice talking with you,” she smiled at him and waved goodbye as she turned to leave. Ignis could feel his heart sink as he watched her leave. He took one last sip of his coffee and threw away the now empty cup. Before waking the guys to head back out, he noticed that the girl had left behind a notebook on the bench where she sat. He picked it up with a smile, hoping that it would lead to another chance of seeing her again.

Could I have a matchup? I'm 5'10" with neck-length brown hair and brown eyes. I'm anxious around new people but if I begin to know someone I really open up. I love to make people laugh and try my best to help others (though I kinda internalize my problems). I love being outdoors bc of what I study but I like dressing up nice when I'm not outside. Out of the 4 Chocobros, Noctis would love to just chill out and play video games with you. Prompto would totally join you guys when he’s around because he loves them too

Noct would love your outgoing and quirky side; it adds a little spontaneity to his life. This shy “tries to be cool” dude might become a little red-faced and shy if you’re out in public with your quirky antics so go easy on him. Actually, embarrass the frick out of him it’s cute and it’s hella funny

He would totally enjoy your fun personality. Just being with you helps ease any stress he might be feeling as if it just magically melts away when he sees you.

You guys totally have nap dates. Like you guys will totally show up at each others house and just lie on the couch or in bed and fall asleep in each other’s arms making light conversation before actually dozing off.

If they're still open, matchup, please! I'm 4'11'' but this attitude 8'4''. I've really curly brown hair that could double as a lion's mane and brown eyes. Despite being short, I'm self sufficient and able to handle things on my own. Why??

Your attitude, as well as his, is just the type of thing that you see in power couples. Like, you guys will probably sass each other back and forth, in a friendly banter kind of way of course.

Also that height difference though, it’s so adorable! He’ll probably rest his arm on your head jokingly while you’re standing talking with the chocobros. He’ll think you’re adorable when you try to fight him for it, and probably just laugh. kick his arse man, kick his arse 

Gladio would love seeing your emotional/sentimental side from time to time because it really lets him know that you care for. However, if anyone were to ever try and mess with either of you, with malicious intent, he would be ready to Fight whoever it was. Like somebody’s really gonna catch those hands

He also really likes the fact that your pretty independent. It puts his mind at ease knowing that you can handle yourself just fine without him. Also, it’s another thing he likes to brag about to the guys when you’re not around.
