Look at this! Tom is wearing a honest-to-God burgundy jumper and he is smiling about it. HE IS NOT EVEN WEARING ANYTHING MONOCHROMATIC UNDERNEATH TO PREVENT THE COLOUR FROM TOUCHING HIS NAKED FLESH! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD! (Also that cutie patootie smile be still my heart).

Dear @cincoflex, good eye!! The suit is indeed the same one our dear Hiddles wore in the Gucci campaign, down to the pocket kerchief. Of course, the same cannot be said of the tie, because that would be way too much colour, and so Hiddles decided he had to be true to himself and at least wear a very dark navy blue tie instead of the burgundy one we see him sporting in the ad (although if you zoom in, you can see that the tie has RED DOTS OMG WHAT IS GOING ON HERE).
However, we should all be very proud to see the traditionally monochromatic Tom going outside of his confort zone and daring to wear such a colourful suit. Maybe his stylist blackmailed him? Maybe he has truly changed his monochromatic vest? I mean, it could be possible: remember the reddish orange puffy jacket?
Or maybe it’s truly gonna be a New year, New Hiddles kinda thing.
However, we at Tomismonochromaticallyfabulous are forever thankful that he also decided to forego the white socks he wears in the ad, because frankly they are an abomination and should only be worn when working out, but never in real life.

Here you have a bolder than ever Tom Hiddleston strutting his stuff on the day of the "I saw the light" premiere in Hollywood, and isn't he a sight to behold! That's why this deserves a proper outfit analysis: - Suit: beautiful Alexander McQueen in bright blue, reminds us of the Cannes wonder, especially where the crotchular constriction is concerned. Paired with a classic white shirt, and a black tie. It's precisely here where I don't agree with you, Thomas. I think the tie is too dark and gloomy for such a bright suit. Or maybe it's that knot that's too small. I don't know. It just doesn't seem to reach the usual red carpet perfection for me (at least it's not the BDSM leather tie, or the monstrous knit tie, thank god for small mercies). 9/10 (it would have been a 10/10 if you had foregone the tie altogether). -Shoes: Louboutin oxfords in black. Can't really go wrong there. 10/10. -Socks: they were the true stars of the show, and what really makes the outfit bold (for Tom, anyways) I mean look at them!! They feature red (well, more like auburn/maroon, but it still counts as an actual colour!!) and mustard yellow! They are sold by the London Sock Company and that particular model is the "Eleni's Shaken and Stirred Mustard". I'm sure there is a James Bond reference in there somewhere. 11/10 (you get an extra point for overcoming your fear of colours here, Thomas).
Dear lord, Thomas, you sure can manage my nights any time you want looking like that. The only thing that would make this better is literally nothing because you are perfect in every way imaginable, sir, and why oh why do you make us suffer so. Also don't frown. That tie is is not really light yellow. More like cream, which is not actually a real colour so you have no legitimate reason to be looking so upset. Also #2: crotchular area tightness alert. Also #3: we always talk about the cheekbones, but have you seen thAT JAWLINE???????????

To be honest I’d be tempted to say Ravenclaw, since Tom is so intellectual, and very oriented towards academia. If you watch any of his interviews, he always ends up talking about something that could very well be found in a textbook: from the etymology of words to interpretation of Shakespeare plays or symbols. He is interested in knowledge simply for the sake of it, which I think it happens to be one of his best qualities. In layman’ terms, he’s a fucking nerd, and it’s awesome.
However, despite all that, I’m gonna have to say Slytherin. They also tend to love knowledge, and strive to learn about anything and everything, even if their main motivation is ambition. And we cannot deny, Tom is very ambitious. This is in no way incompatible with being humble, please don’t misinterpret!! Any person who dares to go into show business is greatly ambitious, more than most, and also confident in their own worth and abilities, a quality Slytherins tend to possess.
Charisma and diplomacy are both key characteristics of Slytherin House, and Tom has them in spades. The way he has charmed all of us is but an example. Even if we are rationally aware that a human being cannot be so perfect, he manages to treat his public image in such a way that emotionally we kind of believe he is. He is, in fact, benignly manipulating all of us into having a certain opinion of him (and true, there is a whole PR team behind all that, but they can only do so much). The fact that we can associate all of the Houses’ positive qualities with him, but have a hard time doing the same with the negative ones says a lot to prove this point of mine.
Also, he values form a lot: the way he talks, moves and in general, acts, is measured and precise but without seeming rehearsed or pedantic. This is yet another typical Slytherin trait
Last, but not least: he’s not precisely lacking in the hotness department, and we all know the good looking guys always got sorted into Slytherin!
Do you ever notice that Tom seems to have a hard time keeping his hands off his face--particularly his nose. I always see GIFs of him rubbing at it or pinching it during interviews. He does it so often, do you think his aware of?
Of course he’s aware of it. He does it because he knows how pretty he is. So he wants to make sure his face hasn’t been stolen by any vengeful fan whose ovaries he has destroyed.
Also come on. The hand porn. He does it to give us more of that. He wants to ruin our lives further, dear anon.
