Dream Job
You're living a dream. You get to do what you love and tour around the world with your favorite group. You could be at home, making alterations for the boutique you worked at for minimum wage, but now you're traveling with a pretty cool group of people. Your first day and you have to take measurements for each of the members; up close and personal for guys who don't even know your name. You're nervous as hell and just hope you'll make a good first impression. In the back of your mind you're just hoping you won't fuck this up. You walk in with a forced smile and put your measuring kit on the makeup table. Taeyung and J-Hope are making a goofy video in the corner while Namjoon looks unamused beside them. You introduce yourself and tell them why you're here. They finish up what they are doing with hysterical laughter and J-Hope comes over for his measurements. He introduces himself too, though you already know who he is. He makes a few jokes, you laugh a little too loud, and you take to long to measure him. The rest of the group files in while you're doing it. Yoongi awkwardly stares at you when he arrives. You introduce yourself to him, but he doesn't say anything. When it comes time for his measurements he doesn't say much, only complains if you tug too tight. You've been assigned to make them clothes for their next photoshoot, so you start working that night. BTS traveled a little while you were working, so you were always scrambling to get your things together to move along with them. You've gotten close to them spending so much time together. While you do make them clothes, you also have the luxury of buying them too. The day of the photoshoot you woke up late, scrambled to get to the stuff you needed and headed down there. J-Hope gives you a warm hello as he always does, and you give them their outfits. You turn to Yoongi to hand him his but when your hand reached down into the bag it was empty. "Where is it?" he asks abruptly. You are speechless. It must be sitting at home. "I think I left it at my house, I'm so sorry," you tell him. "Let me just run home and get them," you start saying. "It's too late for that we're only here for an hour and you were already late," he says calmly but with a touch of anger in his voice. "What am I supposed to wear now?" he asks you. Before you can say anything J-Hope says something first. "It'll be fine, I'm sure she has backup clothes for you to wear." He smiles at you. He was right, you did have some in the trunk of your car. You ran outside and grabbed them. "Thanks," Yoongi says when you hand him his clothes, and whether it was forced or sincere he shyly smiled at you. He had a really nice smile. The photoshoot from there was a success, and J-Hope invited you to come along to dinner with everyone once they were done. Then made plans for the next day with just the two of you. Hanging out with J-Hope was really great, he always made you laugh. He was beginning to become your best friend. You meet the guys before their show to get them all in their correct clothes. Once you were hemming Yoongi's sleeve he uses his other hand to grab your arm. "(Y/N), thanks for working so hard to make sure we look good out there, even when you have to put up with me." You look up at him. "What do you mean 'put up' with you? I love all you guys," you tell him. "Not the way I do." He pauses. "The moment I met you I thought you were the most beautiful person I'd ever seen. I never knew what to say to you. I was always so angry around you, never at you, because I thought the first words out of my mouth would be stupid, which they were. The only reason I'm talking now is because I can't spend another day without you knowing I want to be with you," and he smiled that really cute smile again. A rush of emotion flooded you all at once, then someone took him away and told him to go on stage. You hung back to watch their performance, thinking a lot. Out of nowhere when you weren't paying attention, you here someone say "(Y/N), this ones for you!" and the crowd got all riled up. You look at the screen you were watching them on and see him making a heart with his hands. Going from not being able to speak to you and then announcing your feelings in front of an audience was very strange. But, no matter how odd he'd been since you met, you wanted to get to know him better. When they were finished performing, J-Hope ran up to you and said "He really does like you, I promise," then he winked at you. Yoongi walked off stage kind of slow. "You know I never finished hemming your sleeve," you tell him. He starts laughing. You get together after he unwinds a bit and it turns into one of the greatest nights of your life.
