Dear members,

We would like to thank you very much for your support and activity since joining the group. We’ve enjoyed and continue to enjoy writing with you, and would like to continue to do so at your leisure. Unfortunately, it is with heavy hearts that we have come to a mutual decision to close down the group. We’ve worked very hard to get our name out there and attract players, but unfortunately we haven’t had as much luck as we had anticipated. Perhaps we were too early to open, but as we close the group for now, that doesn’t mean we may not open it again in the future.

would characters with children be welcome?

Characters can have children as long as they're background characters and not actively roleplayed. This is an adult-oriented group (with only adult characters) and we feel most threads and interactions should remain between adult characters whether they're NPCs or not.

So for reference, when you ask for poc, are mixed/white-passing poc acceptable. I mean this is tumblr so I figured I'd ask because I've had people tell me mixed people who are white-passing are not poc. (Which imho is vehemently racist, but I digress)

They would be allowed, yes. We’re looking to diversify our group and get as wide a range of representation as possible across the board. We just currently have a bit of a majority on cis white males that we’d like to see evened out with more FCs of color used and/or more female and non-binary representation.

Would you class Ashkenazi jewish people as poc or? From what I've read, they're classed as non-white/poc, I just wanted to know what you thought of the situation for fc purposes.

This is a great question. While there’s many Jewish FCs of color, being Ashkenazi doesn’t inherently make you a POC. Ashkenazi Jews absolutely deal with prejudice and anti-semitism, which I do not want to down play by any means, it is different from what people of color face and many Ashkenazi Jews do benefit from white privilege. As someone who is part Ashkenazi Jew (of Russian origin) I don’t identify myself as a person of color and would feel uncomfortable doing so. I absolutely want to see more Jewish representation in the group but with our current ban many Ashkenazi cis male FCs would not be considered FCs of color.

Yo! Sidebar while i think of a good fc - may I ask why JDM and Jensen Ackles are banned?

Jensen Ackles has said some homophobic things at Comicon panel in the past, and while he may have gone on to support the community, we also just do not want to see his face on the dash for personal reasons. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been a loud supporter of the Blue Lives Matter movement, which we do not support here. But again, for personal reasons, we do not want to see his face on our dash.

If you’re looking for some older male FCs in the 40-50s range we’d like to see Idris Elba, Pedro Pascal, Diego Luna, Hrithik Roshan, Daniel Dae Kim, Gael Garcia Bernal, Shemar Moore, or Jason Momoa would be great! It’d be awesome to see some older FCs fill the business owner positions at some of our locations.
