You hit everything I was looking for in your samples and head canons. I clearly saw the effort you put into your application and I’m excited where you take Liliana. I can’t wait to see all her highs and lows on our dash. As well as her dance. Liliana may be human, but beneath her flesh is strength. Something beneath growing as she gains her footing. Desired Character: Liliana Milen
What attracted you to this character?: Simply? She’s pure. I love that her surname literally means ‘Gracious’ in Bulgaria and that is literally what she is. Basically; I adore her name and the subtle meaning here!! Her backstory and what happened to her interests me. I see her as being extremely gentle and kind hearted - not to mention, how likeable she can be. She comes across as a slight pushover - in the sense of not speaking out or being opinionated, so (as seen with Hugo) she is prone to being used. However, I like to think that if ever pushed enough to her point of breaking (which takes a LONG time), she will react - which makes me believe that she intentionally grabbed the lamp and smashed his head with it,however, I also believe, that she didn’t mean for the result of her actions - I feel, personally, that she did intend to harm him due to the constant build up of emotions of all that he was doing to her and desperately wanted him to stop due to his repeated roughness, but never wished death for him. Liliana is also someone I feel I can relate to - not in the sense of her sexual assault, but her personality and character itself. She never wants to speak out of term, she never wants to disappoint and she holds her dancing career dear to her heart and she is extremely passionate when it comes to ballet. She is also effortless is everything she does, which I find is unique and one she owns very well. She is also very modest when it comes to compliments and finds herself become slightly awkward when it comes to personal contact - or any form of contact due to what Hugo had done to her in her past. I feel that she hasn’t quite mentally gotten over being a victim of rape, physically (and on the outside) she comes across as pure innocence. She comes across as the type of person which can do no wrong, which nothing bad would ever happen to - but underneath the surface and in reality? Her thoughts are much darker and she in turn, constantly worries about speaking about herself and how she really feels and because of this, I see her as the type of person to allow people to believe they know everything about her - but is actually an extremely closed book and has never spoken about the events that have shaped her.
What are your future plans for this character?: Future plans would of course include the plots that could emerge from the connections in her biography. Also, I would like to see her taking another step, in terms of her and personal contact as I believe that she is extremely uncomfortable when faced with any type - this excludes when she is on stage dancing, as that is the only circumstance she feels at ease and at peace. I would also, at some point like her to be introduced into the supernatural world around her and I would actually look forward to seeing how she reacts and her thought processes behind this.
Please give us some head-canon’s, at least two is preferred:
1. When she washes her hands, she subconsciously washes them twice and is not fully aware that she does this. This is of course down to the ‘blood on her hands’ and mentally that’s all she sees.
2. The only time Liliana curls her hair is when she is performing. So nine times out of ten, her hair will be straight.
3. I believe her to be more like her mother; gentle, caring, kind, and calm. However, her extremely patient tendency come from her father’s genes.
4. She doesn’t like snakes - she has a phobia.
5. Liliana has never had an intimate relationship, due to all that Hugo did to her, and does not like any form of personal contact because of this.
6. When she is nervous she subconsciously touches the pendant around her neck - this was formally her mothers and was given to her before she set off on her travels with Hugo.
7. She has a heart of a traveller and one day would love to explore the world.

With a takeaway coffee cup in her hand she came to a sudden stop, calling out the name of her fellow dance partner but when the person had turned around she felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment realising it was not whom she thought and in turn, a smile began to grow on her face. “I’m sorry, totally thought you were someone else.”

Lost in her own thoughts, she glanced down as she did up her jacket, not quite realising that someone was walking the same path she was and they suddenly collided– a gasp escape as her lips parted when she lifted up her head, “I’m am so sorry… I wasn’t looking, sorry.”

“No… no… I couldn’t possibly,” she began, her tones more on the quieter side as she spoke, hand reaching for her pendant in a subconsciously manner. She was just about to leave The Claw, it was getting dark and Lilianna and night life didn’t seem to mix. “I’ve really gotta go, sorry.”

Once she had finished her performance she had stayed behind, making sure to get change and collect her personal items. When she had finally finished she turned around, heading for the exit. The curls of her hair bouncing behind her as she walked - she never usually curled her hair, but when she performed? She liked to make an effort. Lilianna stopped in her path when she made eye contact with someone she recognised - someone who had watched her and her team perform. “Hope you liked the show.” she spoke, tone laced with delicateness.
