What are your thoughts on a person that fits snugly into all 4 houses?
They’re missing the point and they’re probably no fun at parties.
Reading about the Hogwarts houses is kind of like reading through horoscopes. Every answer can kind of be read in a way that would actually fit most people, like you could make a case for fitting most people in each house because people are complex like that. But you’re missing the important part, and that’s the fact that your house matches the traits that are the strongest and most important to you. Anyone can be wishy-washy and say, “I actually could fit in all of the houses!” And maybe it’s a way to try to feel special, but there’s just no conviction in that answer. Choosing to identify with one house is acknowledging what you value and admitting your faults at the same time. Saying you’re kinda just all four houses is a surefire way to get whoever asked you which house you’re in as small talk at a party to take up a renewed interest in what variety of cheeses the snack table is offering.
