Is it possible to change your FC after the character is made?

As long as you can handle the change within threads, your storyline, etc then it shouldn't be a problem at all. So yes, you may!

Hello fellow survivors. Admin Rowen here to let you guys know there will be a crack down on activity. Not so much how often you are here, but more so on how often you plot and post paras, starters, etc. This goes for everyone, even us admins. 

So here's how it's gonna go: 

You must post one para, whether it be self, open or plotted within the first four days of acceptance. We want to crack down, but we still want to be lenient. Responding to the ask sent by the directory in para format does not count. 

You must interact with others. Plotting is crucial to the development of not only your muse, but this directory and other muses as well. Please don't leave others out. It's normal to form groups, especially in this world, but don't ignore others either. Hear them out, listen to their ideas, and if you feel your muses won't mesh well, suggest them to someone who might. Let's help each other out while helping ourselves out as well.

A suggestion from us admins to those of you with busy schedules OOC: Make a post or a page with your schedule listed or in full view for others to see. This will help  you and others in the long run. It'll help you find a better time to get on and plot/respond to replies and asks while also giving others a better idea of when to catch you while you are on so you can plot and such. It's completely optional, but could definitely benefit everyone.

We also ask that you not start a thread and drop it without a real attempt at getting it going. We understand that you may not feel the thread, but if something feels off about it, talk to the other person(s) involved. Let them know you aren't feeling it so it can either be fixed, mended or rehashed. 

That's about it for now, we will keep you guys posted on anything new that may come up.

Announcement: Calender

Paroxysm now has a calender. This is going to let you guys know whats going on with PXM, admins schedules, events, announcements, etc.

We hope that this helps us organize things better while also helping you guys as well. 

The F.A.Q for Zeta-9 will be finished in a few days.

Is it possible to apply for the Zeta-9 mutation after the character has been accepted and made? Or is it something you have to fill in at the same time as your character application?

Though we'd prefer you do it upon application, we are not against you doing it afterwards. As long as you fill out the portion on the application specified for the zeta-9 mutation then you may apply for it at any time. If we feel your muse is a good candidates for the mutation, then you will more than likely be accepted. We are still trying to garner more questions for the F.A.Q (which we have yet to put up because we don't have enough questions) so that people are better informed about specifics, we are still developing this with time. As we said, we just ask for everyone's patience!

how active is the rp?

When we built this directory, we never thought we'd grow as fast as we have. So at the time, we discussed that we would only be as active as our members. I think that still applies in some way. We check on things daily, but of course admins have ooc lives as well and from time to time we will need breaks of our own. We will be closed one day a week (to which we have not decided yet) to give us admins time off. As for activity, we only require that our members at least post replies/starters/drabbles/self-paras/etc twice a week. As long as they are interacting with one another and make a conscious effort to put themselves out there, we don't require them to be here everyday.

I want to formally apologize for our disappearance over the last few days. All of us admins got busy ooc and were unable to update properly. 

I will be taking care of the inbox and apps right now.

And to those who did get a blank link to the ooc blog and were recent the link and are having trouble getting the ooc blog to work for you, please let us know.

We know a few people were sent blank links (many apologies) and some had difficulty getting the sideblog to work. If you are still having issues, please let us know.

Announcement

I, Admin Rowen, want to say something really quick.

I know that we are very new but we want you all to know that if you feel unwelcomed, feel as though you are being ignored, it is not true in the slightest.

If you didn't receive your welcome message (the message sent to everyone's ask) then tumblr ate it. If this did happen, please let us know. We will send you your welcome right away.

Being that we are new, we are still trying to get settled. Meaning, we may make mistakes here and there. Whether it be accidentally forgetting to link you to the sideblog, or messing up on a welcome post or the masterlist. We will always work harder to better ourselves, we just ask that you be patient with us. 

We are so grateful to have you all with us, you have warmed our hearts more than you can possibly ever know. We never expected PXM to grow so quickly. And I apologize to those of you who may feel unwelcome, we truly do not wish for you to feel left out or unwanted. We will work harder, be better, stand taller as time goes on.

And also, we will be working on an event soon. We wanted to give it a little time before throwing an event your way, so please, be patient with us and look for that hopefully very soon.

Again, we are so grateful to you all and are so thankful to have you here.
