I can't help but read the coloured text with more emphasis. And by more emphasis. I mean. Like Spamton. I don't know why, it comes natural. It's pretty funny tbf 😭

✿ i'm not the evil mastermind behind this fun little gimmick (i'm only new here), but i do believe this is the intention !! colour draws the eye - it just makes sense to emphasise anything that pops :D

✿ besides, why not ? it's whimsical, it's fun, it's a kick to an otherwise normal sentence. maybe spamton was onto something, haha

aaaaah I'm so excited! I had a ton of fun last year drawing for scrunkly week and getting to see everyone else's favorites and all the creativity they inspired, and I'm soooo looking forward to doing the same this year!

☆ we're so glad that you had fun last year and it'll be awesome to see what you do for it this year !!

When are this year's prompts going to be revealed?

☆ very soon ! I am working on all of the graphics myself this year (so they unfortunately won't be as good as last year, as I will be the first to admit that it's Nolan's speciality, haha), so the process is slower than last year.

☆ I have currently fully completed two of the graphics and have drafted two extras ! I'm planning on posting them in batches so that people can see at least the ones for the start of Scrunkly Week hopefully today sometime, and the other prompts will go up tomorrow!

A quick notice from us!

Due to a larger amount of participants and submissions than expected (which is AMAZING and we are DELIGHTED by this turn of events), we're going to be changing up our commentary system, to help things operate more smoothly on our end! We'll be taking turns commenting on submissions: whenever nolan comments on a piece, clink will comment on the next, so on and so forth. meaning you won't see both of our thoughts on absolutely everything, but that we might be able to spare more thoughts as a bonus!

☆⊗ Thank you all for making Scrunkly Week a much larger event than we ever hoped it'd be <3 you're all wonderful, and running this event has been an absolute pleasure so far! We're doing everything we can so that we can keep motivating all of you to scrunkle your guys to the fullest with joy!

⊗ small notice: if you guys don't see any commentary & encouragement from me on your posts today, specifically for day 3, it's because i physically can't do them. it's not because i'm less than happy about your submissions. nor is it because i don't like the season or something (haha). forgoing details to make this post light, today has continued to demand all of my time from me, and right now i have none left. it probably isn't that deep, you'll live without me today, but still! heads up and suchlike.

i love all of your submissions, and i'm still looking over all of them silently. which is why this is an "if"; i'll still be making an effort to provide my thoughts whenever i have them, it's just that i might fail.
