Ditching a stimboard. Tumblr kept bugging out and not placing the images correctly, no matter how many times I edited it. Will try again another time!

Back when we used to mod agere discord servers, there was a time I had to explain what age regression was to a parent.

A girl joined and opened her verification ticket. I think she had the phone first, but pretty quickly her mother took it and started asking questions, very alarmed that her daughter was on the internet acting like a child and calling people parental terms iirc.

I answered all the mothers questions and made it very clear that it was an entirely appropriate activity that is typically a trauma response, that the spaces for people who experience this are made to be entirely family friendly and age appropriate. It seemed like she genuinely began to calm down and try to understand what was going on, even though it was clearly still foreign and strange to her.

I don't think the girl ever finished verifying. Or maybe she did and just left the server soon after. I don't know if it even was a girls mother, or if it was just a little prank someone was playing. It didn't seem that way, for once. Regardless, I think about it a lot. I wonder where that girl is now, if she still regresses, if it was real, how her family is doing.

I hope that baby is alright. And her mother.
