It’s been a while! 

I’ve been missing this blog terribly so I decided to try and motivate myself to start posting again. I’ve also decided to do a little revamp, which will include small things like changing the header (seeing how we have a new gov’t now, so no more Alexi the Sexy :’( ) and some bigger things like fixing links, tags and the overall content of this blog.

I’d like this to be a fresh new start for this blog, and I’ve decided to focus a lot less on serious politics (even less than I already have) and more on some fun and light-hearted stuff! Greek history will always be a big part of this blog, but I’d like to approach everything from a more relaxed and easy-going perspective - which was what I had in mind when I first made this blog. 

It’s been over a year since I last posted and I find I've changed quite a lot since then! So I’d like for this blog to change as well - for the better, if possible!

Edit: Also forgot to mention that I might have accidentally cleared my entire askbox when I last logged in.. so I guess it’ll be a fresh new start in that respect too.. :’) If you had ever sent me an ask and never saw it being answered, I’m so very sorry! Feel free to re-send whenever you want!

Hey full offence but stop sending me asks like these

This should go without saying but I don’t have to answer to anyone when it comes to the people I choose to befriend. I’m not here to fight and this isn’t a battlefield, it’s a freaking blog meant for facts and memes. And if I want to be friends with someone because I like them and we get along well, I’ll be their friend - and that’s that. 

I’m not ignorant. I’m well aware of the existent tensions and I know what goes on in the world but honestly, if I always let geopolitics dictate who I can be friends with or not, I’d only have to be on speaking terms with people within my country’s borders (and even then, I’d still have to limit myself).

Also, I sure as hell am not naive. I know where to draw the line and if someone was ever being openly offensive towards me or my country, I can assure you I’d be fully conscious of it and refrain from interacting with them. 

I’ve been getting asks like these ever since I created this blog and I’m utterly sick and tired of it. I’ve been ignoring them so far but they just keep coming. It’s like some of you are trying to stir up unnecessary drama - which is why this will be the first and last post I’ll ever make concerning this matter. From now on, all asks like the ones above will be deleted immediately. So please, don’t even bother sending them.
