PSA to Photoshop CC 2019
I’ve had PS CC 2019 crash on me MULTIPLE TIMES. Also, sometimes it gets confused when I’m doing something and will temporally stop working-I have to click off the program and click back on to get it to work again. This was especially true in larger files. Apparently, I’m not the only one having this issue-see Adobe Support forums for details. Finally got it back to normal.
I put the memory its allowed to use back up to 70% (why it was off that in the first place, IDK.)
I did Edit-Purge. It gets rid of its temp files-not your brushes or personal settings, BTW.
I turned off Libraries. I know no one who uses this anyway.
Switched Legacy Settings back on. (I feel like this is the biggest one that worked for me-everything stopped being crashy AFTER I did this.) I personally like having Step Forward/Back over Undo-I can make a change in my document, go back to what it was like before, then toggle between the two.)
I’ll keep you updated in case it decides to be stupid again.
