Filipinos love this dish called Slow Cooker Chicken Adobo. It is made with tender chicken thighs that are cooked in a tasty sauce of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and spices. The rich flavors soak into the chicken while it cooks slowly, making a deliciously savory and tangy dish.
Ingredients: 3-4 lbs chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/2 cup vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 6 cloves garlic, minced. 1 onion, sliced. 1 teaspoon black peppercorns. 3 bay leaves.
Instructions: Spice up your food with soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, black pepper, and minced garlic in a bowl. Cook chicken thighs on low for a long time. Cover the chicken with the sauce mix. Put in the bay leaves and sliced onion. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is soft and fully cooked. Warm it up and serve it with rice and steamed vegetables. Have fun!
