Adopted Characters

Hey guys!! I thought I could share something with you real quick.

Sometimes, with one time minor characters, they really give us an interest aside from the main characters. And we would like them so much that we would use them in our art and stories and even expand these characters by giving them personalities and names and such.

I guess you could say they’re what we call our adopted OCs.

That’s the case with me in the Pokémon episode “Hypno’s Naptime.”

Some of these kids were too adorable and some of I imagine being friends with my OCs. That’s when I decided to give them names and personalities.

I took screenshots of each kid so you can understand which one I’m talking about.

Just to clarify, I don’t really own them and I didn’t make them, but I consider them my adopted characters. Okay?

Kevin

An energetic and happy boy who loves to play soccer and loves to be apart of different activities.

Has a crush on Julie.

Loves to hang out with his friends.

Loves video games.

Gets good grades.

Favorite Pokemon: Pikachu and Squirtle.

Taylor

A sweet girl who used to be shy and kept herself, but it’s more open thanks to her best friends, Mary-Anne and Sophie.

For years, she struggled with nocturnal enuresis (night accidents), but it’s learning to cope with the things to the supportive her parents and friends.

Uses a bow staff as self defense. Her mother is an instructor and taught her.

Her uncle is Lt. Surge.

Favorite Pokemon: Golduck and Sandshrew.

Mary-Anne

A nice but tough girl who will always jump to defend her friends no matter what.

Inspires to become a ninja someday.

Very athletic and energetic.

Best friends with Sophie and Taylor.

Favorite Pokemon: Hitmonchan & Hitmonlee.

Cody

A good boy who always wants to do the right thing.

Has a crush on Sophie and would sometimes get a little shy around her.

Love to play sports.

Pokemon: Geodude and Magikarp.

Alan

A sweet boy who wants to help out and play with his friends.

He is the twin brother of Annie and they are very close.

He wants to become a fireman someday.

Favorite Pokemon: Ditto and Rattata

Annie

A very sweet girl who does the dance, play, and is the best friend of Julie and Jenny.

Is the twin sister of Alan and they are very close.

Would often sing and dance in Julie’s shows.

Wants to be a doctor someday.

Practices with a sword as a method of self defense.

Is friends with the Warden and the others in super jail after an unexpected encounter.

Favorite pokemon: Smeargal & Growlithe.
