Wisdom Through the Years

With the different versions of TV/movie Wolverines I've seen, one remains my favorite.

I feel like X-Men: Evolution had such a fun version of him! I'm sure this is a really unpopular opinion, but I just loved him being the group uncle. Honestly, he's old enough to be the group granddad, but uncle works better appearance-wise. Speaking of wise, this is the only iteration of him that seemed like he had lived for a long time and retained knowledge to help himself and those around him. He still was a hot-head, but he had been through enough things to be more thoughtful. That was really fun to me. I'd like to see more versions of Wolverine where he does seem like he has the wisdom of all his years along with the trauma. The combination could be really fun to watch. He's been through so much that it haunts him, but it also guides him. It's easy for him to become a mentor to the others since they're all younger than he is and he's got a lot of experience to share. My biggest complaint with Logan was always that his short temper made him act foolishly, so balancing the rage with some common sense made me really happy.
