Till looking truly delicious in a fishnet top! I love a Gothier Till!
"Du riechst so gut" , Rammstein's first music video, was released in August 1995 (August 17, 1995). With a limited budget, a manager instead of a professional director, band members inexperienced in the intricacies of video production, and untrained dogs on set, few were confident the video would be broadcast anywhere. It was only released in 1998 on the single of the same name. Despite all this, the video turned out beautifully, and everyone took Fialik's vision seriously.
Till: In the video, we only used the same expressive elements we'd already used on stage.
Bare torsos, suspenders, black thrift-store pants, and the sweatshirt-inspired look were also noticeable.
We tried to carry that over into the video. Then we oiled ourselves up, which also looked good.
Paul: We thought a video would be like a restaurant meal.
You say, "I'd like one video, please," and that's it. It was only later that we realized that for a video to turn out well and reflect the band's character, we had to work hard ourselves.
At the end of the film, as the video was being filmed, Richard exclaims, “Has it really been 18 years?” (and now it’s already 31 years), and Schneider says, “Now I look at it all and rejoice: how young we were!”😉🖤❤️😍
August 16, 1997, Cologne, Bürgerhaus Stollwerck – the famous "underwear" concert 😅 for fan club members. They were forbidden from using pyrotechnics indoors, so water was used instead. The fans sang "Seemann" while Rammstein sipped beer 😉. There was also a misunderstanding involving the head of the fan club: she took the microphone from Till in the middle of the show, which offended him and caused him to walk off stage 🤔—though she had only wanted to present him with the club's award, "Black Gold": a lump of coal containing the *Engel* disc. 👍😉❤️
