To the anon about Charlie Hebdo : they used humor and caricature to help us think ; they were for liberty, and equality, and they were actually fighting for this. Their draws were all about showing us the stupidity in our society. Actually, they never mocked islam for example : they mocked extremist. They never mocked gay people : they mocked people who are against gay marriage. They always respected everyone's opinion on every subject ; they had their own, and now they're dead for it ...

Yes, it could have happened anywhere. So many innocent people are dead ... What scares me the most is the symbol they choose : they attacked a news paper. They attacked liberty, freedom, freedom of expression,and this is so chocking because it's one of our biggest value. People are dead for having an opinion, and that's fucked up. Anyway, thank you from a french girl :)

yes same! freedom of expression is the best and important thing, when they silence you you're dead. you have to be free to say what you wanna say, ofc with respect, and no one can stop you.

Thanks for supporting French people through what we're going through ; I myself haven't seen a lot of post about what happened, while I saw a thousand about Fergusson, and I was kinda disappointed because they are both tragedy. People are fucked up, terrorism is scary, and I hope we'll find a way to fight it better that we are today.

i am with french people with all my heart bc like it happened in paris it could happen in my country, in rome, venice, milan etc .. so it's a global problem. also the ferocity and the amount of death shocked me a lot and like i said before i'm even more shocked for tumblr hypocrisy.
