A great time to post art here, I know. But I had to share. (and it’s on my Instagram/FB, and likely gonna be on my DA soon. At least once it’s finished.)
After buying that Warglaive replica, I got re-inspired to return to this piece. I’ve never had any artistic training, nor taken any classes. I have trouble putting any sort of lines out quickly, but SWEET FELSOUL HOLD am I proud of this so far. I think it’s my best one yet, and I feel like my shading and blending has come a long way. Especially with his eye glow.
Obviously there’s lots to improve and tune, but I’m very happy with this. Even if only one person sees this, I hope someone else likes it so far as well. I’m thinking about adding some spooky Legion architecture in the back. probably just glum, cold, flat walls. Maybe a burning, green-flame sconce.
