I apologize for the absence, my life has gone through so many ups and downs this past year (though, honestly, mostly downs), and often the things that get left behind are the things I do for myself. Turtles All The Way Down helped bring me back.
I fell in love with John Green’s writing after reading Looking For Alaska, but since then none of his books ever spoke to me the same way. I pre-ordered the signed copy for the sake of that love I felt, not really expecting much once the book arrived.
I received it after a long day at work and read the first paragraph. Immediately I felt the same love that Looking For Alaska had brought me. And yet, because of everything in my life right now, I didn’t have anyone to share that beautiful moment of bibliophilic love with. And so...here I am, returning to my well-read people.
The Library will not be expanding until 2018, but I hope to use the next few months to get back to a regular schedule for reblogs, photos, and some quotes. Thank you to everyone who stuck around through my silence.
