Jack blinked a few times as he mentally registered the creature before him. This could end one of two ways: Jack leaves in one piece or he becomes a little snack for the creature. . . Or they become good buddies. . . Alright, one of three ways. "Ello, beastie," he greeted with a grin.

"Dragon, you vile creature..."  Normally this would have not upset him so much, if this was a grey-face he certainly would have waved a hand in their face and told them he would reclaim his throne once again, but looking into the eyes of the very thing that had done this to his people made it an entirely different game.  His eyes were filled with rage, he once again drew his sword and held it proudly as he choked back tears of both anger and sadness, "Say it again and you will be slain!"
