I have an endocrine appt next week and feel like that kid at school who's like "my dad is gonna beat your dad" cause when they find out about the FUCKERY of the last 7 months heads are gonna roll. Gastro, urology, GP surgery, I am dobbin you all in. Imagine in these last 7 months, a steroid dependent patient being sick daily for three months and not one person showing concern for the fact that I need this medication to stay alive and cannot be vomiting. That started in march and I still haven't seen a gastro consultant. Imagine the urologist not taking into consideration the effect infections have on adrenal suppressed patients and refusing to refer to the person who gives the medications which treat the infections. Imagine the GP surgery not once mentioning this very important note in your referrals so you wait a year for one to come through all whilst being untreated and in actual danger daily. Imagine the stress of all this on the patient who doesn't make adequate amounts of natural steroids to deal with that stress. Endocrine are my dad and they're about to beat all you other dad's.
I don't think I've ever been so excited for a hospital appointment but endo are the one team who have my back 100%
