In the human world, Miri can see the future and the impact of her actions. After being selected by Barbatos for the exchange program, she finds her powers literally do not work on interactions with demons or angels. A friend described it as similar to playing Obey Me! if you had no options to pick from and no ability to see the intimacy meter, just a text box to give your own input and literally nothing else. From growing up clairvoyant and building an impermeable persona around getting what she wants from interactions, this negation of her powers leads to inevitable social anxiety. I want everyone to know Miri has a completely manicured personality but underneath that she is just a terrible overthinker and overanalyzes everything. Miri has a massive unexplainable crush on Satan and it literally kills her because he’s hard to read. Miri’s only person she can be around without stress is Mammon because a) her superiority complex kicks in and she thinks shes better than Mammon, and b) Mammon is easy to read and bad at hiding secrets and that brings her comfort. They also bond over get rich quick schemes.

nekoda’s got a natural luck to him and thus has no sense of self-preservation; he just kind of goes headfirst into situations assuming that it’ll all turn out ok (which it does). unfortunately his refined looks and his easygoing people-pleaser attitude stem from his absolute fear of being known and judged and he stifles all aspects of himself that he perceives as lame :(  basically the only person that nekoda lets this face down around is levi because they both find comfort in knowing they can be lame with each other. i didnt get to draw it on the sheet but nekoda also thinks asmo is so sexy but will not make a move because he thinks hes out of his league. likewise asmo is inexplicably unable to charm nekoda and will not make a move because he’s at a loss as to what to do without his power. 100k slow burn mutual pining thats all

my take on the satan and mammon pact marks on miri! we imagine pact marks to be less like burns and more like deconstructed tattoos of the obm sin sigils that appear on the cards. these pact marks are both on the right, dominant hand. i imagine they appear on anyones dominant hand, mirrored, but miri is right handed.

satan’s outer hand pact mark is about the restraint and power of wrath. the right hand... it is about the dominant hand which you use to create or destroy, to make art or punch something to oblivion. it is about the claw you make when you tense your hand, the fist you make in pulling your punches, the soft brush of your knuckles against something you find precious. the fact that a sign on the back of your hand is inescapable from your view always.

mammon’s inner palm pact mark is based on the midas touch: “all that you touch is golden and yours”. it’s the implications that all the small things you keep in your hand are yours only.... mammon likes to hold hands with her on this side. the five-pointed greed sign with spokes that manifest on the fingertips: through the pact mark, everything you greedily touch and want is shared with him. the sun part on the palm is a white tattoo reminiscent of the white streaks on his chest in demon form.
