Kisses
It’s been said to kiss someone, and they will show you how important they are to you. A thought that had never really dawned on Augus as he leaned in and kissed Twinkles. His lips pressed against his gently, it wasn't that long, and it certainly wasn't the kind of kiss you see in movies these days, but it was wonderful in its own way, and all he could remember about the moment is that when their lips touched, he knew that this memory would last forever and be seared into his heart forever. He couldn’t help but think of something he’d read before, Never close your lips to those whom you have already opened your heart. Twinkles had been there for him as an amazing friend, they’d kissed before, done more even but this was special. Aug had learned the lesson long ago the life can suck, beat you down to where you don’t want to get back up. Because we’re only given this life and while you have it, It’s better to make each and every day the best day of your life, even the bad ones cause you never know when your time might come or someone you care about. So live life with no regrets and you'd better kiss like you only have that one moment, try to hold someone's hand like you will never get another chance to do so, look into people's eyes like they're the last you'll ever see, watch someone sleeping like there's no time left, jump if you feel like jumping, run if you feel like running, play music in your head when there is none, and eat cake like it's the only one left in the world!
