Iskratel launches next-gen universal home gateways
Warsaw, Poland, 14th Feb 2015 – The second generation of universal home gateways, now featuring GPON connectivity, was hard launched at the FTTH Conference 2015 in Warsaw, with immediate availability. The Innbox V60U is very appealing to users, as it includes advanced features like dual-radio with 802.11ac MIMO wireless, full gigabit routing and several USB ports for extendibility.
“Iskratel has successfully delivered and implemented their CPE product Innbox V60U to our network, and along the way showed a high level of professionalism and competence. We have established that the equipment provided by Iskratel is of high quality and is reliable,” said Miroslav Å travs, CTO at ISP T-2 d.o.o.
Most operators can calculate exactly how much they are spending on logistics and support operations. Iskratel’s new hybrid CPE device drastically lowers the OPEX for any operator utilizing different access technologies in its network, no matter what size. Deploying just one type of CPE device with high-end features, instead of many, drastically simplifies and optimizes logistics. And not only that, when deploying a new technology to customers, intervention from technicians is no longer required, as end-users can be migrated seamlessly to the new technology and services,” explains UroÅ¡ Habic, Product Manager at Iskratel.

if your using a 10 metre cable (or heaven forbid you have more than one 10m extension lead daisy chained together!) then the increased impedance in the cable (proportional to cable length and inversely proportional to the conductor’s cross sectional area) will cause your signal to drop, and you’ll lose speed. To be more precise, you’ll lose bandwidth, which affects your overall throughput
As much as we would love to upsell Central Filters, we're an honest bunch... if you don't need something, then we're not going to try and sell it to you.
This is true for ADSL2+ Central Filters/Splitters. They can cost upwards of $300-$400 to install (depending on who you get to install them), and in our experience plenty of ISP's like to tell customers to get one if they have a Back to Base Alarm System and are experiencing slow ADSL and/or drop outs.
But chances are, there's some other fault lurking somewhere in your internal phone cabling, which simply installing a Central Filter just won't fix... and if there is, our technicians can find it and repair it, usually for a lot cheaper.
