Removal efficiency of vegetable waste mixture for uptake of Cd (II) and Cu (II) ions – JBES The adsorption capacity of prepared vegetable waste mixture to remove Cd (II) and Cu (II) ions from their respective aqueous solutions was investigated in a batch experimental setup. Maximum uptake capacity of biomass for Cd (II) (303.03 mg/g) and Cu (II) (1000 mg/g) was observed at pH 7 and 2, respectively.
